My husband has a full acoustic drum set , but I myself could not stand the noise whenver he let our son plays drum. So I decided to buy this one instead because I can have him wear headphone while playing it. This is so cool and exactly what I need. It is very light, you can put it on any flat surface or on the floor ( at my son likes it that way). It doesnt come with battery though (3 of AA). I am glad with this electric drumset because my son can play it as a toy for now and can able to learn to play it when he is older without having any headaches.
