It does get very warm while gaming for long periods like the one I have had for some years. It's expected to get somewhat warm, especially while running this laptop full tilt for hours however, power specs, higher than my oem charger and still gets just as warm. Is it due to the extra long cord lengths in this adapter? Maybe. Bottom line, it works, is stable and I still need to test this for about a month before returning to adjust my review if it changes. I will buy again from this company. I like that it does have a light on the brick and the flexibility of the longer length cord. On another note, regular traditional charging with the lower off, it doesn't get warm at all.
