Review: Life Saving Dog Food! - This top quality dog food has made all the difference for my dog with liver shunts. My dog is a medium sized Havanese and the fkibble is proabably 5-7 mm in diameter and about 3-4 mm thick. My dog has gone from being sick on a weekly basis, to it being a rare occasion. He has been able to gain weight and flourish— if anything a little too well. (That is NOT a complaint in his case.) This food is an effective way to safely feed a dog with liver struggles. It has literally been a life saver for my dog. He digests it well, his BM’s have improved, and he is okay with the taste. It’s not his favorite, but he eats it anyway. His liver function tests improved greatly as he has used this food.
