First the sound is strong and loud, I usually have to adjust the nut or bridge to get the action just right but this one was perfect. The craftsmanship is amazing. The fret board is smooth and the finish is perfect. The tuning pegs work nicely, ive played it for about 2-3hrs right out the box and the strings have stayed in tune. It comes with a ton of goodies including; very nice gig bag (was extremely surprised how good the padding was on it), a clip on tuner, ukulele strap, extra strings and a nifty little manual that can give you a heads start on learning a few simple songs and some music theory. This ukulele is definitely the best one you can get at this price and I'd say it's probably the best ukulele you can get at $120 and below. If you are just starting out or buying a ukulele for someone just starting out then this is the way to go! The fit and finish is impeccable. I couldn't find a flaw anywhere! The rosewood body appears to be SOLID rosewood - unheard of at this price. The grain on the inside matches the grain on the outside. It even smells like rosewood. The frets are well dressed with no sharp edges. Even the tuning was almost dead on out of the box. The tone is great - warm and mellow.Now for the rest. The tuning machines have a slight amount of "play" in them. Not too bad, and they don't slip. The action was on the high side (again, not too bad), which is better than being too low. It took me 5 minutes to sand down the saddle and now the action is perfect for me. The accessories are nothing to write home about, especially the capo. I won't be using it as it feels like it is about to snap (cheap plastic). The tuner is fine - it's your typical $10 clip-on tuner. The strap is serviceable but may be a bit short for taller (or rounder) people. The instruction manual has a number of rather humorous translation errors, but is still useful for a beginner.The instrument itself makes these other minor issues insignificant. It comes with the complete bundle so you are ready to play immediately. The rosewood finish is nearly flawless and top is a real attention getter! The frets are perfectly smooth, markers on front and sides. It tuned up in just a couple days and holds its tuning very well. It has a nice resonance and voice. The action is set so its easy to play up and down the neck. Not as loud as some but put a pick to it and it speaks right up.
