Unfortunately, not particularly heavyweight. I doubt they are going to hold up for very long with my overactive grandkids and pets... but only minus one star; as they should hold up okay with some care and a less destructive family. I did use twist pins to assure a better fit. They worked well at the bottoms, but tore out in seat area. I replaced the pins in the seat area with a small PVC pipe extending in the crevasse between the back and the seat. After reading other reviews I figured I’d take a chance and am I glad I did! These are great! The fabric is very stretchy and has a nice texture to it. They were relatively easy to fit - kinda like working with a duvet or a fitted sheet. With two people we had it all done in like 15 minutes. It fits perfectly as you can see in the pictures. I did use one of those spirally furniture thingies to secure the front of the loveseat because it has a swoopy front.
