I have a three and a half year old and a newborn I need both hands-free. I was able to put quite a few things in it (the necessities). I took a picture of my items inside the bag and out so you can see how much it does fit. When I took the bag out of the packaging I thought there is no way I was going to be able to fit all my stuff in it but you really can. My only downside to the bag is that there's no padding on the shoulder strap. And if I could downsize my wallet and actually utilize the front pocket it would be a homerun. I like the outer pocket that I can keep my stuff in (phone, wallet, keys, etc) and then the big pocket is for all the kid stuff. I also like that there are two places for water bottles on the sides.
