It stretches fine, but wish it wasn't as tight in the waist. The background color in the picture looks more like a basic pink, however, when I got them, the background was straight brown/dark tan. While they're still adorable, I was disappointed in the color. My daughter loves them and has worn them the day after they arrived in the mail and the following week. They're super soft and great quality! They conform to my body, the fabric is wonderful, they wash beautifully, do not fade or shrink in the drier and seem to be very well constructed. In other words, I have had no problem with them at all and appreciate the comfort and softness of the fabric.
