NOT Sterling...plated! *by L***T on Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2019* This seller is sending out "craft wire"--i.e., "sterling silver PLATED" wire instead of the actual sterling silver wire that's listed! I was lucky enough to discover this when I tried to patina (tarnish) the wire to a darker color, and it didn't do a thing. It's got some type of plastic laminate coating on it...making it truly non-tarnish, just like cheap craft wire. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality for the price *by H***M on Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2017* Not the best quality, but good for the price. I bought this mainly to practice my wire-working techniques in making jewelry, and it’s great for that purpose. The gauge is thin and very easy to work with. The quality is still good enough that I have been wearing some of my practice pieces, but some discoloration is occurring in the inside of rings. For pendant wrapping, where the piece doesn’t touch the skin, and even looser pieces where there is not a lot of wear on the wire, it still looks good as new. Oxidation on copper is normal, and in some cases, the discoloration adds to the look of the piece.
