The 5 star reviews are correct, and the 1 star reviews are also correct. This is not a durable bag, but it is an awesome bag for travelling. Years ago our first one popped a seam on day 1 when we packed (over-packed?) it, and then it wore a hole through the material in a shockingly short amount of time. We sewed up the torn stitch and put a patch on the worn spot, and it became a worthy travel companion. We love it so much, I just bought a second one because nothing compares to it for utility and affordability. The bottom "tray" is perfect for packing for a longer trip: instead of having a bottomless duffel bag, you can strategically back the lower part and then fill up the top part separately. Much better than excavating for your underwear or socks at every new destination along your journey. I specifically insisted on a roller duffel because trying to fit a hard sided suitcase in the trunk of a rental car is a nightmare compared to tossing this thing in the back. It's also great for wheeling around cobblestone roads with its big wheels. I highly recommend this bag, but if you want/need the quality of a bag twice the price, then go ahead and spend twice the price on something else.
