GREAT PRODUCT FOR iPOD CLASSIC USERS
Really easy to use and pair with receiver.I brought this product for my iPOD Classic because the aux input was only playing music on the right side of any speakers I hooked it up to. To save a couple hundred dollars from having to get it repaired I bought the KOKKIA and a bluetooth receiver (http://amzn.com/B006OT2WFM) and every works perfect now. Sound quality is great and plays on both side.I recommend this product for anybody with an iPOD Classic that has aux issues especially since they are discontinued now and the repair cost is almost the same as what the product itself cost.

Great little device! Just two small issues...
This iOS bluetooth adapter is so easy to use I can describe the important contents of the user manual in one line: 1) turn on bluetooth receiving device and 2) plug adapter into your iDevice. That's it :-)If you have a Samsung Galaxy S3 or other recent Android phone you obviously won't need this gadget, because these phones support apt-x directly (thanks Apple, for leaving us years behind on bluetooth technology yet again) and this adapter is designed to fit the older 30-pin Apple connector port and NOT an Android device! Apple's iPhones, iPods and iPads (as of iOS 6.0) do NOT support the higher-quality apt-x audio, so an adapter like this is currently the only way to get apt-x streaming bluetooth from your iDevice. Obviously, you can also use this to add bluetooth streaming (apt-x or the older, more lossy, a2dp) from non-bluetooth devices, such as the 6th generation iPod Nano. There are two minor issues with this adapter, which may or may not be an issue to you. 1) It draws a reasonable amount of power, which could be ok for an iPhone, no problem at all for an iPad, but probably will be an issue for the tiny battery in the 6th gen iPod Nano. 2) The very bright LED on the front of the adapter flashes continually when it's in use. This is no problem during the day, or while running with the device, but it's very distracting if you're trying to read from an iDevice screen at night. You could put black tape over the LED, but it would be better if it wasn't wasting any battery power to begin with on those annoying LED flashes.

It works but it drains the battery on my Classic
I spent $50 on this and while it sounds very good and seems to work well, it just drains my iPod Classic battery. When I encoded all music with Lossless for mine and AAC 256 Match for everything else, it lasted (maybe) 4 hours. When I set iTunes to encode the lossless to 256kbps, I got an extra 90 minutes from it (5.5 hours). Now, I just unplugged it and used a Jaybird headphone Apt-X adapter and after 4 hours of playback with the 256kbps audio files, it is down about 15% (significantly less than before). This is the adapter's fault basically and while it's great to have Bluetooth capability on the iPod, there's no pass-thru where I can still charge the device. Still, for a full day at work.... I wouldn't buy it. Get an external headphone adapter from Jaybird instead. That does Apt-x and has its own battery inside to avoid it from draining your iPod's battery.Lauren

Noticeable sound quality improvement. Won't help with signal loss though.
I picked this up to go along with my Sennheiser MM 550-X Wireless Bluetooth Travel Headphones as using Bluetooth with them really killed the sound quality for me. This transmitter uses the much higher quality Apt-X encoding to transmit lossless audio to your headphones and it's quite noticeable. The high end was really tinny and scratchy using the internal Bluetooth on my Apple iPhone 3G, this completely solved that.I was hoping for a stronger signal which wouldn't break up as much, however, it will still break up if you have your phone in your pocket and move around a lot or wave your phone around (not that I would have reason to do that). Overall the signal isn't that much of a problem as it'll rarely break up. I guess 100% was a little much to ask for.One thing of note, you'll want to turn off the Bluetooth on your phone when you use this (or at least unpair your headphones). Also, I noticed that sometimes I would get the "This device isn't compatible with your iPhone" message when connecting it. Just tap dismiss and ignore the message - it works perfectly. The only thing which bothers me about this device is the fact it exists. Why on Earth don't iOS devices support Apt-X?! It's not like Apple is unwilling to use it - many of their computers support it just fine!

Five Stars
It's very useful for my IPC. But it takes long time shipping.

Almost great little device!
Works very well paired with my iPod Classic both in my car and with my headset. Didn't rate it 5-star because it can be quirky about connectivity, although I did discover that if it fails to connect with the intended receiver, turning the iPod off and switching it back on usually does the trick. And very impressive transmission range!

Works perfectly with my iPod Video 5th Gen & AirPods
Been looking for a small Bluetooth transmitter to use with my iPod 5.5 video model. I had been looking at getting one of these for quite a while mainly to use with my Bose Soundlink Mini Bluetooth speaker. The high price has always put me off as there are hundreds you can find on eBay which will do the same job and much cheaper... or will they? What struck me about this is how small it claimed to be and reviews I read said the quality of the sound was very good. The sound quality is very important to me as I have all my songs imported as high quality Apple Lossless format and didn’t want to compromise on sound.Since then I was gifted a pair of Apple AirPods for Christmas and wondered if this would work? Anyway the device arrived today and I can confirm it paired straight away with my new AirPods and the sound quality is simply amazing. I am truly surprised that you can get such detail over Bluetooth and with zero interference. The bass and clarity is incredible. The play/pause/skip track tap commands even work with AirPods and my old iPod! As I say it seems expensive for a little Bluetooth transmitter but I challenge you to find one that will work so well and deliver incredible sound like this does. If you have an old iPod and want to use it without wired headphones/devices then do not hesitate in buying this.

Love it. Its tiny and a state of art ...
Love it. Its tiny and a state of art product. Works well on my Generation 5 IPod which is 10 Years Old. Expensive but a fine product. If you keep thevolume on the iPod at minimum and adjust the volume of the blue tooth headphones as desired the iPod battery lasts a way longer. When I ordered the product I thought I was buying a product made in US, but on receiving it I find that it is made in China! A disappointment.Any body who can buy it in US will get it in less than half price. Never the less a fine product. HoweverKOKKIA MarathonS (NEW Black) Sport Fitness Buds did not work well with it.

Wireless Connectivity for CLassic Ipod
I love the fact that I can stream the music from my Ipod Classic to my aftermarket stereo and wireless speaker. It was so much better than hooking the Ipod in with a USB cable. Only issue is that every now and then it looses connectivity and wont re-connect. Just means I have to refresh the bluetooth connection. Still for what its worth I do use it almost every day. Fantastic device.
