Because the two tears are small, I chose to receive a refund and am sewing them myself. The material was soft and became softer after I washed and dried it once. The size is accurate, matches my queen size comforter perfectly. I didn't use the 2 pillow covers because I have 2 smaller memory foam pillows. Be aware that this is a lightweight duvet cover set. If you want something thicker, this won't match your need.
