The quality is decent and I can wipe my feet with out fear that the inner patterns will disconnect. I removed 1 star because the top is smooth so it doesn't clean your shoes very well and because dirt, leaves, etc. build up between the pattern so you do have to clean it out every few weeks. I ordered 2, and I immediately sent both mats back. Because they arrived from 2 different suppliers, I know the quality issues are not limited to one defective mat. The rubber on this mat is flimsy and the lines poorly cut, and both mats had multiple cracked areas.
