Extremely well magnets. Would barely hold themselves up on a vertical steel surface, much less pick up anything with any weight.

Neat plateholder
I use this to hold steel backed photopolymer plates while polishing the ink off. Makes the process much easier, spine friendly and less messy. Thumbs up.
