ScoreBoards XL Box Stacking Drawer

I purchased the drawers with the intention of buying the chest at a later date which I still intend on doing.I love these little drawers but found they were not without their issues when making them up.My main issue was that the drawers I made seemed a tad too tall to fit in their own little drawer runner box, so I had to tweak them a little by cutting appropriately 2mm off the top of each drawer right the way round. That being said, I am unsure if the material I used could have been my issue as I used 1.25mm thick grey board, which I’m thinking may have added to the over all bulkiness of the drawers especially taking into consideration that I then painted. Next time I make them I will try 1mm board in the hope that they will fit better.Knowing what I now know I would still purchase these drawers as I do love the finished item even though they needed a little tweak.

great drawer die, when you use this die use thick board or grey board for best results. i used 1.5mm greyboard (a3 you can get two, cut it in half, cut lengthways to get it into the machine).mine has a rough appearance because i used thick gesso after construction, and then applied lots of green ink in a patchy way on purpose.i plan to make advent calendars with this die aswell, its one of the very few drawer dies available on the market, i have looked!if you are having trouble with the construction of this die, just look on youtube and make sure you use the correct materials, if it is put together with thin card it wont look right nor will it hold up to heavy usage.

Brilliant for cutting multiple layers of card or paper. Can't wait to make a stack of drawers with them
