I now have three of these items, and one of the tall bookshelves, over the space of three orders. So they obviously meet my needs: They are large and very sturdy items - but easy enough to move when empty. I have more confidence that they will last a few house moves than simiarl from Ikea. The back panels are also plywood rather then the more common hardboard - which is a vast improvement. I have found hardboard backs absorb moisture and cultivate mould if the conditions are not perfect.Things to watch out for:1. Assemble the front facade first, and then build the sides and fixed shelves on top of that. The instructions have you assemble them separately and then try to put them together - which makes no sense.2. There are not enough panel pins for the back - buy extra! There are as many as shown on the plans, but this is really too few. For the pure bookcase unit I also bought some L-shaped wood give a more secure fitting. While on the back, the top and bottom panels meet at the fixed shelf, but usually don't share the width evenly, meaning that one side (usually bottom) has very small tolerance for the panel pins.These are nicely deep shelves. It would be nice if the 2- or 3-shelf bookcases had the same depth, so I could put them side-by-side, but apparently they are *much* shallower.Some scruffy wood cuts on the last unit though. Managed to keep it hidden, but some of the facade straights where a bit warped, meaning harder to assemble than it should have been. Keep Quality Control Up Folks!

Had a friend make up the unit. Very pleased with it. Lovely colour, well made, very good value.

This is a lovely piece of furniture when it is assembled. It is also very useful to have the cupboard.However, my 2 sisters and I are very good at DIY and this took us the whole day to put together!!!The instructions were not clear. The picture should show the side panels as they should be when assembled, but it doesn't. So after you put all the inserts into the holes, (which didn't go in easily), you had to turn one of the panels the right way up in order to continue with the build.There's a lot of things that took long to do. We didn't understand why it needed the thin plywood behind the door.

I took everything out ready to put it together and noticed some of the wood was bowed, bit worried but carried on.Instructions could’ve been better but managed to put it together in the end.Some of the parts weren’t a suitable length so be prepared to settle on quality & fiddle a bit to make things work.For instances there are 3 panels for the back and two sliders that hold them together. The sliders are about 5-6cms too short, there’s no way around it there is a very visible gap as they’re too short. I’ve ended up leaving the gap at the bottom so that when the doors are closed so it’s not immediately visible but it’s very shoddy of the supplier to not include long enough supports.The door hinges also seemed to stick and were hard to move but with enough moving about they did ease up a bit.I didn’t put on the black pins as I think they make it look tacky & to me it looks a lot smarter without them. Overall it looks nice once put together but the craftsmanship and parts aren’t ideal.

Received in good time. Not easy to put together, especially if you're doing it alone. Says on instructions takes two people 60 minutes. Took me 7 hours! Nothing really straight forward. But once finished extremely pleased. The final black studs don't go in easily and really are a waste of money and time. All in all, a lovely product and value for the money. A pre made item of a similar quality would be at least 3 times the cost.

Very happy with this product. Looks nice too. Unit is very sturdy when put together. Good value for money. Fairly easy to out together.
