Copper clad aluminium!
What did I really expect, I should have learned by now. Yup, stripped one, did the flame test and the wire melted to a silver puddle(copper doesn't do this). I'm not even angry(except at myself). To be fair the cable does appear to work(it would be dangerous for power over ethernet though), although it is stiff as hell, the metal used to make the wire is not mentioned in the description else I wouldn't have wasted my time and money. In to the bin with it.

works just fine, but not a great product
I have a small patch panel and switch in my house. I only needed short cables to go between them so the 12cm lengths seemed like an ideal product. The cables work fine as far as I can tell. The sheathing on these cables is very rigid. if you get any of the colours then these will turn white when you bend them (I ordered a number of colours for my needs and they already have white stress marks on them). Also there was quite a large variation in the actual length I received. my 12cm cables varied between 10cm and 14cm measured from tip to tip on the RJ45 connector. Also the orientation of the RJ45 varied from cable to cable. This mean I had to rotate some a full 180 degrees before I could seat them in the connectors which meant more stress on the cable and reduced length due to twisting, so take that into account when planning you patching.

This is perfect for a Ethernet lead.
This is by far the best value for money Ethernet lead. The Connectors are not just sturdy and the whole lead is well made AND both ends have a RJ45 connector. As most Routers have a RJ45 socket or two, as do all Computers.Be very careful when buying a RJ45 lead, quite a few of em have only One RJ45 at one end and a RJ11 at the other end. This mea the connection is held firmly in place thanks to the RJ45 connector at one end. But the RJ11 (sometimes at the other end) doesn't have a clip to hold the Ethernet connection firmly in place. If you are purchasing a lead with a RJ45 connector at each end, then I thoroughly recommend this lead.

A big improvement
I used this cable to replace a CAT-5 cable that was getting a bit frayed in places and according to the speedtest site my bandwidth went from 75M up to almost 200M so I'm very happy with that! The cable is a lot thicker than what I had, with a much stronger outer sheath. The connections at each end appear to be very well made. I get the impression that the people making this not only know what they are doing but take a lot of pride in their work. I ordered two cables of different colours and each bundle had cable ties that were colour-coded to the cable. That sort of attention to detail bodes well for the quality of workmanship.

A revelation in cable design...
Who would have thought it - data goes in one end and comes out of the other. It's difficult to get excited over a cable unless it doesn't work but this has what matters - it seems sturdy and well made, has some protection for the retainer clip and passes data. Ordered directly from Rhinocables, it was a decent price for a single cable and came quickly too.

short cables worked nicely for a tidy rack
I bought a set of the the cat6 rhino cables to patch some NAS storage into to a switch. They have done the job well; though the stated length included the connectors rather than the cable length which made one of them a bit tight. The drives have worked nicely and are connecting consistently at gigabit speeds to the network. The short length of cables I chose made for a tidier rack without the effort of self terminating cables.

Decent enough quality
Does what you need from a CAT6 Cable I'm not losing any noticeable speed down it so can't complain on that front for the price I have paid for it. My only small gripe would be that I ordered white thinking the lead would be white all the way through, but it has some horrible blue writing all the way down the cable. The reason I bought white is I was tacking this to my skirting to try and keep it a little unnoticed, having the bright blue writing made it a little hard to do. All in all though, it's fine and I worked round it by twisting an moving it about and it does what it needs to do.

Keeping up to date
I'm on talktalk which has been fine but like most providers they over talk the speeds and strength of their wi-fi ect., so I had to result to trying a cable connection to see if this helped finding out Cat 6 cable was the latest I went for that and have had much better results download wise still a couple of drop outs from servers but that might be their end not mine but speed was improved but not to what they say it should be that I'm not shocked by
