Unbelievably Stunning Dial
I have had my eye on this watch for a very, very long time. Each day returning to the page and still wanting to get it. I finally pulled the trigger on it and purchased this watch because of the amazing reviews online. Mainly, this is the best bang-for-your-buck watch at this price point. A water resistance of 200m, sapphire crystal, in-house Japanese automatic movement, unique indices and hands with a red accented tip on the second's hand, a uni-directional 120-click bezel, and one of the most alluring dials I have ever laid my eyes on. Every single time I wear this watch, I fall in love with it. I never get tired of how it looks and feels on my wrist. This is the heaviest and bulkiest watch I own, but I love that you can actually feel the weight of this watch on your wrist. I have a 36mm Seiko 5 which is as light and thin as a feather. In comparison to that, this has a much sturdier and expensive feel. I do feel that this watch is slightly less accurate than my entry-level Seiko automatic watch. However, I do not regret for a second having bought this watch. Overall, quality and value from an incredibly reknowned and reputable Japanese brand for this price is second to none.

Beautiful
I love Orient watches. This is a beautiful watch. The bezel is firm and has no playback. The dial has a subtle sunburst. While the bracelet Lacks solid end links and the clasp leads a little to be desired, it fits well, is very comfortable, and looks good. Some people are bothered because it does not taper but on my larger wrist it actually enhances the look. Sporty enough for any active occasion but also can fit the situation if you're wearing a suit. Definitely will work with business casual and maybe even business formal, especially since the 22mm lug width allows it to be a bit of a strap monster. It would look great with either a leather or nylon or rubber strap. The in-house movement is working well within specs. The sapphire crystal is a plus , although I wish it was at least slightly known instead of flat, but given all of the other pros of this piece, I highly recommend this watch.

Really beautiful.
It is a fantastic watch, it is everything I expected from it and more. It is an amazing machine, for the price you pay for it. It is absolutely important to get informed and know what this watch offers you, just as it is essential to know exactly what you want. In my case I took some time to study about the different options, read different forums and opinions, to then conclude that this was the model I would want and what it offers me. This way you won't have any disappointments or inconformities. The main strengths for me: sapphire crystal, automatic, water resistance of 200 meters, luminescent, precision more than acceptable.

Decent Watch
I've had this watch for a few days now, here are my impressions thus far. First of all, the crystal is sapphire, not mineral as stated in the Product Specifications section. So that's a plus. The first thing I did after receiving the watch was to replace the rubber strap with a proper leather band. It may seem odd to put a leather strap on a dive watch but hey, it's not like I'm going to actually get this watch wet. However, if you plan on swimming or (gasp!) actually diving with this watch, the 200m water resistance and the screw-down crown will ensure a safe water experience. The watch is attractive, if you like dive watches (and who doesn't?). The blue colors on the dial and rotating bezel are pleasing to the eye. Speaking of the unidirectional rotating bezel, it's 120 clicks and has absolutely no play if I try to turn it the wrong way. The watch face is uncluttered and it's easy to tell the time at a glance, which is increasingly important to me as I get older and my vision gets less sharp. Accuracy is about par for the course for a value automatic watch. Mine is gaining approximately 8 seconds a day on average, your mileage may vary. Lume is so-so. The lume is on the hour markers and hand, including the second hand. It activates quickly and shines bright at first but quickly loses its brightness. I haven't tested it but I wouldn't be surprised if even the faintest residual lume would last through a two hour movie at the movie theater. Not a critical flaw, but thought I'd point it out. I have smaller wrists, but at 42 mm, the watch does not look too big on me. All in all, this watch is a winner. My only real complaint is the overly long, ugly cheap rubber strap, which is why I deducted a star. This will definitely be getting a lot of wrist time. My first Oriental is a success!

Excellent watch for $200
After looking for a watch for many weeks and realizing that there are so many different levels and price points for watches I was super confused. I did not understand what caused the watches to be priced so differently. Amazon has a bunch of nice and expensive watches. They also have a bunch of cheap Chinese homage watches that look nice but in the end are not the real thing. I did some research and decided that I wanted an automatic watch that had a sapphire crystal. Youtube video after Youtube video mentioned Orient Mako 2 and Ray 2. These were beautiful and were priced really well. I wanted the sapphire crystal so I chose the Orient Kamasu. I could not be happier. This thing is classy, has heft and has the internals that show real craftmanship. There are many watches that you can get but for the $207 I spent I am confident I got the best for the price.

Great watch for the Money
Other than the band being a bit squeaky i absolutely love and enjoy this watch. It adjusts and fits well. In terms of Quality the only complaint I have is it can be a tad finicky to screw down the crown from the first position. Lume is about as good as can be for the money it’s bright for about 10-15 minutes and is legible in the dark even after a few hours. Good for the price.

Great diver for the price
I got it for around 2700sek (~€260) and love it. Good price and quality, it's a little quick doing about +5-10 seconds every day which racks up pretty quickly. I used a third-party band for a while before going back to the included one. The included band feels pretty okay-ish, doesn't feel that special but that is to be expected for the price. Other than that, I would say this is a great watch for under €300 and would recommend anyone getting it! Don't forget to look at a couple of YouTube videos to make sure you like the dial :D
