Love ALL three heat varieties of ChiChi - phenomenal!!! I originally bought the hot, but it was so hot- we needed the mild to tone it down and eat more. So we use one scoop of each in all our dishes. The only problem I had was that the jar leaked during delivery and a lot of oil was not in the jar when we opened it. Probably should have thrown it out...but this is not returnable and I can’t afford to just buy another jar.

Start with a handful of pepper flakes in a cast-iron frying pan. Add some finely chopped garlic, onions and mushrooms, sugar, salt and black pepper in plenty of olive oil, stir until caramelized — that’s it. Deep rich flavors with lots of umami. If you finish a fried recipe and plate it up, ; finding yourself scraping out the remaining bits because you just can’t resist the rich, burnt crunch - you will like this jar of flavor. Awful expensive for what it is.

I used to buy a Chinese brand, from an Asian market in the Seattle area. Unfortunately, when I moved away - it was impossible to find. This brand is very similar. I really enjoy it. It's delicious on *almost anything. (Let the reader use discernment, lol!)

Aww, I really wanted to love this product and had been wanting to try it for a while. Trader Joe's is always out and the size Amazon offers is a bit large for just trying. So, I initially bought Momoya Chili Crisp, which comes in a much smaller size. My family loved it! So, I figured I would try this brand in the larger size thinking it would at least be comparable given all the hype. I was wrong. The garlic tastes bitter and the crisps are more stale than anything. It is good enough to finish eventually, but I will go back to Momoya once finished. Bummed.

Really good -- I put it in my scrambled eggs, on all kinds of meat and even on salad. So glad it's made in the USA!

I like spicy, but I'm not one who can eat very hot and spicy foods. This, I can slather all over what I'm eating and it's a nice medium amount of spicy versus using a drop at a time of other hot oils. The bad news means that it gets used up fast. Price is a bit high, but quality and taste is good.

Literally the best chili crunch - I put it over everything and also mix it in to marinades or sauces. So yummy!
