I really love this bag! I bought it for my MacBook and iPad. I travel a lot for work and need to take my things in the road. This works perfectly. Everything fits with plenty of room.On to the bag. I know some reviewers complained of a smell. I had none other than leather. The bag came witha pad for the shoulder strap and fits comfortably. I did take another reviewers advice and bought it and a bottle of Neatsfoot. The leather was a little stiff at first. I treated it three times with Neatsfoot. It did darken it a little, which I liked, but got some of the stiffness out. The rest will come with time and use. These are natural leather bags and when used get worn and more supple. They get more character as time goes by. The shoulder strap is very long even at the shortest hole, but I'm pretty tall and it fits comfortably. The interior is lined with a durable green fabric. It definetly is a more rustic looking bag, something else I prefer to the bags going for many times the cost. The constuction is solid with stitching very finished. I had no frayed ends that need trimming. It will easily fit a 14" macbook, but not anything bigger, an iPad, the Chargers and some documents. One thing I liked is it will stand on its own upright when loaded. The snaps are functional. I'd wish they were a little more secure and easier to snap. For the money this is a good value. If you want a refined name brand with all the bells and whistles spend a few hundred more. If you want a very functional and attractive bag this is a good choice. I've already received a few compliments and was asked how much I spent. When I tell them they are genuinely surprised. i do recommend treating it with the Neatsfoot once you get it.

After several emails I received urging me to post a review I was finally worn down. I like the bag. I'll be as brief as possible. The shoulder strap can be annoying because it is fixed in one position, the ends do not swivel, so you have to put it on your shoulder properly each time you use it. The "pad" on the shoulder strap always slides down the strap and is also a nuisance to get into position when you carry the bag. The magnets do not line up easily when you close the flap. The craftsmanship is sloppy and there are stray leather threads that need cut off. The leather stinks pretty bad for at least a month or two... No idea why. Must be cheap leather.I'm a guy and I'm fine with the ruggedness of this bag so it works for me. The nice things are that its cheap, convenient and simple. I actually like the inside canvas color of green myself, I know others do not. As time goes on I like this bag more. It does what it's supposed to do, and it looks better than some tacky pleather bag for the same price. That's all I've got.

Great rustic look (if you are looking for the look of pristine leather, this isn't for you).Holds everything I need for sketching. Right now I'm carrying an 11x14 sketchbook in it without issue, though the clasp doesn't quite reach. This isn't an issue with this bag since the full flap stays down on it's own. This is probably the largest size sketchpad most people would go out and about with.The rivets look a bit shaky. They are obviously done by had with a hammer and not with a normal riveting tool. I like the look of them but I'm not sure if I totally trust their integrity yet. Where the straps connect to the bag, the leather is a bit thin too. So far it has held up fine though.I would also add that you'll want to have some proper leather care products to help darken it up and make it a bit more supple. This leather appears very fresh and is definitely lighter than shown when you get it. I used brown leather balm and got some sun with it to help it along.

This a good leather bag. First thing I did was condition the leather. The leather itself can be pitted in places, but it happens. No massive gouges in the one I received. The leather itself is thin, so the bag is light. I have a 14" Dell that sits very nicely inside it. There's padding around the pocket dedicated to the laptop, and the inside seems to be lined with canvas. The weight of the laptop bows the bottom out, but it seems to retain its shape in the short-term.The strap is also a little light for my liking, but we'll have to see how it holds up. Two zippered pockets on the inside, as well as three open pockets. You won't be able to fit a lot if you also have a 14" laptop in it. Magnets keep the flap in place; they work well enough. At 5' 10" I think that there should be more holes in the strap to keep the bag higher than hip level (at least this I can change). This is a good bag. I enjoy it thoroughly.

I wish seller's would stop begging for feedback. But here's ours:Bag arrived with a very sticky substance/staining on the inside flap and places inside the bag itself. We got a refund and reordered another since otherwise the bag was nice. Since we had quite awhile to send the defective one back, we wisely decided to wait for the new bag. The 2nd one arrived with same problem- only worse! And with an additional problem of a few black markings on outside the of the bag. We tried to remove the sticky and kept the 1st bag since it was far better than replacement and looked great on the outside...plus we needed to use it and were just tired of needing a bag and not having one. We felt like if we order yet another one, it would have problems or even worse- a crap shoot- whatevs...we kept the bag and the sticky problem just sort of went away after some wear- NOT ideal but it is what it is. The outside does look nice, has nicely worn in and gotten soft as leather bags do. The smell others mention was minor and went away quickly. Not a big issue at all. This is a rustic style /hipster look leather bag. Looks nice /works well / wish it didn't have the sticky crap on it. There ya go.

So as you can see in the photo, the lining / thread is fraying and falling apart. It is not well put together.I just got this bag and have used it for about a week.I had high hopes. But I am disappointed

Reading some of the other reviews of this bag I was a little trepadatious. Would it smell? Would it be cheap?So here's the thing.I can only speak for my experience, but when I took the bag out of the plastic it did smell... like leather. That's it. It smells like leather. If it didn't smell like this I would probably not have been happy. This is the smell I would expect ordering a leather bag. Some people are too sensitive.The bag is decent quality (especially for the price). looks great, has lots of pockets and is padded enough for my laptop (your mileage may vary). The leather strap feels a little bit thin, but it's leather, it will be fine.I'm super happy with the bag, the colour, the interior, and the smell (which in case you didn't catch it, is a leather smell. Surprise, because it's leather!).

terrible quality, you cannot do anything worse:- main zipper was broken out of the box!- buttons do not stay in!- the strap is extremely short(mabybe 25-30CM). forget about running it across, you cannot put it on your shoulder without looking ridiculous- smells horrible, not sure what chemical they have used!- does not look or feel leather, I assume it is synthetic leatherette
