Works great!
Very good. Easy to install and stays in place. I purchased for disabled family member. He says it more comfortable than our previous one. I definitely recommend.

Designed for a round toilet, but also fits elongated
It came with everything you needed to install it and be able to close the top on the toilet. But it was designed more for a round toilet seat rather than an elongated toilet seat. The bars on the sides are adjustable to accommodate most sizes

Great for Tight Spaces
Ordered this for mom after hip replacement surgery. Installation makes for a sturdy toilet aid. This 3.5 inch riser was more comfortable than the one they gave her at the hospital. I wish it had one more notch on the arms for a wider adjustment (as she needs the assistance to stand). If you are a larger person with wide hips, the handles may be an uncomfortable fit. Best to measure your hips in a sitting position to make sure it will be a good fit.

Works well !
This riser works well. Everything went together smoothly except the handles did not want to slide into their slots too easily untill I sprsyed some Slick 50 on the metal tubes , then it went in with no problem.

B4 U buy! Nice But!!!
This item is pretty comfortable and really help to keep you from sitting too low" especially for hip replacement patients and helps you to raise up easily off the toilet effortlessly...However caution! But after a short period down the road...the item becomes lose and unstable and the screws becom really rusty and unable to undo. And last but not least..I'm gonna start charging for these reviews cause it's beginning to feel like a 9 to 5 I'm out'

Works Great!! No More Pain!!
I have low back pain and sciatica that made getting on and off the toilet so painful. This raised toilet seat works great and makes it so much easier and less painful. It's the only one I found that lets you use your original toilet seat and that you can close. Now I just need to buy 2 more for my other bathrooms.

A Better Option for Some
I bought this for my 88 year old dad. He was adamant about not having a frame-like device that surrounds the toilet and the bars are on the floor. So he looked at this one and told me to order it. It arrived quickly and we installed it. He loves it. It is very sturdy and it helps him so much. His hip and knee both are totally worn out. It is a good quality product. He has an older round toilet and it fit, but he had to buy a new toilet seat that would fit this device better than the one he had.

Doesn't require seat removal or tools. That's a big advantage.
I never thought I'd be writing a toiler seat review, but after hip replacement surgery, it was very helpful. The nice thing about it is the no tools installation. Much easier than another I purchased for a different bathroom that required seat removal (and that I never even installed).

Good Product
Bought for my senior father - works great and is sturdy. The screws are larger so they do not fit all toilet seats. If you have a standard seat with smaller plastic screws they will not fit.

Excellent
Easy install. The best feature is that you can attach your existing lid and seat. found it to be very uswful

Good product
Good fit on oblong toilet. Unable to fully secure the seat as the long screws do not stop movement of the seat elevator (the seat wobbles a bit from side to side). Easy solution was to put some hand cut spacers (made from packing styrofoam) behind the seat elevator and in the holes (beside the long screws) So far so good.

Good seat but it could be better; I have now replaced it with a similar product from Bemis
I purchased this product to replace a round raised toilet seat for my mother-in-law. Installation was simple and the seat is better than the round one I removed. It is elongated but it doesn't fit on the bowl properly and it is not possible to move the seat further to the front of the bowl. After several months of use, I am revising my review. The bolts that attach the seat to the bowl are about 4 inches long and pass through from the top of the seat to the bowl. Because of the length of the bolts, any shifting of the seat will put more force on the nuts causing them to loosen. The seat should have been designed so the back of it rests a very short distance, maybe an inch, from the bowl which would have allowed for a much snugger fit and harder for the seat to become loose and move around. Because the seat moves easily, the metal supports under it come in direct contact with the bowl. I now have 4 black marks on the bowl from where the metal rubbered against it. These marks cannot be removed. There were 2 rubber pads provided with the seat which were probably designed to take of this issue but they come loose and one likely fell into the toilet. I bought a pack of rubber spacers and put 4 of them under the seat near the metal frame. I will be replacing this seat with something better if I can find one. Update, Sept 22nd 2021. Last week I replaced this seat with a similar product from Bemis which was easy to install and does not shift back and forth. When I removed the Nova seat, I notices that it had four impression points on the top of the plastic seat where it made contact with with the regular toilet seat. See the second picture. My mother-in-law who uses it weighs 145 pounds so it may not have been before it was damaged further and had to be replaced.
