Gotoh Single 9 Volt Battery Box

It takes a little of skill to cut the hole for this. First I put some painter’s tape over the area I wanted it on my acoustic guitar. Then I traced the body of the battery compartment. After that I used a drill bit to drill out a section then used a jigsaw to cut the rest - fits like a glove!

I installed this with an accordion mic system. It's perfect for my purposes -- the battery is positioned in such a way that it doesn't require much depth, and the door design makes battery replacement easy and fuss-free. Would definitely buy for my next install.

I had to jank it into my old epiphone les Paul to get the nano mag system working again, definitely will buy another one if I need one.

Exactly what my bass needed!

Needed to replace the exact box in a repair. The item is as advertised, fit perfectly, and now my customers base is back in his hands. I like the design, and would us it in my own builds.

Battery box works as it should and looks great on my acoustic. Looks factory but, be careful. There is not much of a flange around the box itself. There is approximately 1\16 in. of margin on the flange. Also, no screws are included for install. Measure twice and cut once!

Routed the hole soldered the wires and they are easy to use and no more broken wires on the board of one, and no more removein strings and fighting in the body of the other. How cheap can these manufacturers get! The Guitars I used them on was, a Gibson J190 EC, and A Godin Telecoustic!
