Love these little guys! I bought a bunch of them to place inside a “talking mezuzah” for doorways. They work great. The only issue is that you can order them only 2 at a time, or the delivery time is extended greatly.

We made our first musical card with this! Definatly worth every penny and much more fun than just buying a ready card. There is no insruction with it, so you have to google, know how to do it or just follow our example and figure out on our own. So we made a birthday card for a 6 year old girl who is in TOTORO theme. It was a family experience so both kids were involved. First we recorded the music and then attached, but unfortunately when you accidently pressed the record button it is delete all the recording. So we made a card first and only then did a recoding. But again it deleted it with accident move. We could not figure out how to disable microphone button, so we just cut it and it worked! The recorded music was there. The sound is quite good but not as loud as it would be on the cards already made. We used 30 sec out of 4 minutes of memory capacity. I think it is a great product for kids projects. I have no clue on battery life, but it is possible to replace them. It is quite easy to use. Probably insert with instruction would be helpful. I recommend it to others and most likely will purchase again.

Nice sound quality for a small module! It does play four minutes which is perfect for songs! I just made a card board part to cover it up in the lid and used double stick tape on a small piece of card stock to secure it to the lid and used some electric tape to secure the wires. I secured the record button close between the speaker and batteries so it doesn’t get pushed as easily. So I left it in case I want to change the song. If I want to keep the song permanently then I will just cut the record button off and tape it like I did my other one I made. It is very easy to work with than I thought it would be. I’m addicted to them now. I like it!

It’s not working for me at all. I pressed the red button to record then pressed again and then pressed the black button and don’t hear a things smh

First... the item was shoved in my roadside mailbox, not dropped at my front door. I was under the impression that Amazon wasn't allowed to use USPS mail boxes to drop their deliveries. Second, there is no way of adjusting the volume sans creating a digital audio file on my computer and adjusting the sound output from inside of the sound editing program and transferring the audio file via the attached microphone to the sound card. This unit wasn't used in a card but in a small project box and by placing the speaker inside the box it noticeably reduced both the sound volume and quality. I've actually increased the sound output, both in quality and in volume, by switching out the included 16 Ω speaker with another one from a third party. Substantially increases both the volume and the sound quality. Replacement speaker was only an additional $3.99 (U.S.). Third, no usage instructions are included but it's pretty easy to figure out... press red button once to record and a second time to stop recording; press the black button to playback. This particular unit is extremely cheap and is offered in the exact same format from various Chinese manufacturers. The only difference is in recording times varying from 20 seconds to 4 minutes.

It went perfect with the gift that I made for someone. Great sound quality, functionality was also great

this recorder doe's not repeat and for my use i use a 4.5 v transformer instead of batteries

This is amazing, it really worked, and so small. We used it to hide a Merry Christmas message to my Grandma. It was cleared and worked flawlessly. The messge lasted about 15 years.
