The wood base adds stability and style.The globes are heavy and other hangers I had tipped easily and were a little small.These are just right and it takes just a few minutes to screw the frame to the base with the provided screws.

This is a great stand for a special ornament from my son. The only problem was it needed to be bent to replace into the center as it was leaning to the side when assembled. It was easily done put made assembly a bit more of a challenge. Great product though.

This has a more interesting shape than most display stands. I have a hand blown ornament I got in Europe that I wanted to display. I needed something sturdy to hold it and this fit the.bill.

I liked it so much I bought a second one for my mom. They take a tiny bit of assembly which takes all of 2 minutes as long as you own a screwdriver. But the holder is sturdy and very nice looking. I have a fairly heavy blown glass ornament hanging from it with no issues.

The screws provided have the tinsel strength of sand.One sheared off in the pre-drilled holes the base was provided with. Use your own screws if possible.

I purchased one for my daughter about a month ago and the same thing happened. The top of the screw breaks off and unable to pull bottom of screw out of the base. I was surprised when it happened to me. Duh. Taped the hanger to the base. It leans :(

I would buy these again in a heart beat, but I bought a bunch at once, and glad I did, i love them.

Weak screw broke when assembling. Not worth drilling again to fix.
