Milk Bands nursing bracelet is the latest solution for breastfeeding mothers who desire to keep an accurate nursing log of their baby's feeds without the hassles of nursing journals, safety pins or bracelets being switched from side to side etc.The bracelet was exclusively designed to conveniently provide the feeding information of an infant to the nursing mother all on one wrist. Milk Bands incorporate many unique features such as a side indicator, which lets the mother know which breast should be used when starting a breast feeding session by simply flipping the breastfeeding bracelet inside-out once during every nursing session, as well as "time tracking" sliders which can be used for many different purposes including: Record single feeding sessions to the nearest 5 minute increment Record multiple feeding sessions over a full day period Record the number of times the baby fed in one day Record the number of diapers a baby soiled during the day Reminding the mother what time the baby last fed Reminding the mother roughly what time the baby is due for another feeding Helping the mother to wean her baby by tracking the number of nursing sessions and then eliminating them one at a time.

It's okay
I guess it has its use but it's not the one I thought it was, not what I had with my first child several years ago...

A bit large
This is great in theory but the little markers for time are quite useless in the dark and hard to move. They break off easily. So I wouldn't buy it for that purpose - go with a phone app. The left/right indicator, however, is simple and helpful. I found that the bracelet was a little large on my wrist (which to be fair, is narrow) and I would end up flipping/rolling the band in my sleep to the incorrect side. For the money, though, it's a cheap investment and I found it helpful in the first few sleep-deprivation-fogged weeks.

and it's a good idea but it didn't work for me
It's difficult to put this band on and off, and the clips, for how hard they were to put on, never slid right or stayed where they were suppose to. The band has Right (raised letters) and Left (Lowered letters) written on it but at 2 am my brain couldn't figure it out and I ended up taking it off and using a hairband that I switched wrists each time I nursed and using the "Babynursing" app which times my nursing sessions for me without needing to do math in the middle of the night. This may work for other people, and it's a good idea but it didn't work for me. I'd return it if I hadn't ripped open the packaging already. Oh well.

Cheaper quality than older version
Clip to track nursing times broken after four days of use. I know they give you extras but after a few days it breaks something wrong with quality I've used this type of nursing bracket before and the clips lasted a lot longer.Update: I managed to make something instead of using clips. See picture.

Tabs break
Awesome to have, but all of the little tabs broke. They send an extra two, but those broke as well. They all broke while moving them to the right time, so normal use. Huge bummer.

Helpful product!
Remembering what time I last breastfed our little one while keeping my toddler's schedule was nerve wracking. I didn't want to nurse at every cry, but to offer full feedings every 2-3 hours. This bracelet was very helpful. I have to add I broke many of the original brackets in the first month of sliding them along the bracelet. I have yet to break one of the replacement brackets I ordered the following month, and I have 8 left. I'm not sure if it just needed to be broken in or what, but for the price this has been great. If you only nurse on one side each time and don't watch the clock at night, but still want to know which breast to start on the word LEFT has lowered/carved out lettering and the word RIGHT has raised lettering. You flip the bracelet inside out depending on where you started last, so in the night you can just nurse in the dark and feel the letters. I wear it everyday and night and take it off when I shower. I like that it's plain enough to wear everyday and doesn't look like a piece of fancy jewelry. Great product.

Great product!
Personally, I think this particular bracelet is fantastic. It was exactly what I was looking for as I got sick of using a hair tie. I'd always forget to switch sides, not to mention it felt funny wearing a bracelet on my right hand. I like how this one you don't have to keep moving it.After reading some reviews, I had some concerns about the plastic pieces on it breaking off, but so far it hasn't been a problem. I'm late in my nursing career (8 months) so worrying about what time my baby ate last isn't so much a concern anymore as it used to be so even if they do come off, Ill still get use out of the bracelet.I also was concerned about how it would fit. I have really small wrists and normally have a hard time wearing slip on bracelets such as this but I got it and it fits great, and doesn't feel too loose on my wrist. With that being said, I wouldn't recommend it for women with bigger wrists. It would probably be pretty tight and uncomfortable and the plastic pieces would be harder to adjust. Maybe that is why there have been a lot of complains about the pieces breaking?Wish I had bought one of these things sooner! It has been so handy!

A Breastfeeding Must Have
My second milk bands bracelet since I wanted another color. I've been nursing for over two years and will soon be tandem nursing. I clog and get mastitis very easily so I need a reliable way to track sides.I have tried everything from a hair tie to a personalized bracelet. This may not be the prettiest bracelet ever but it holds up so well and I love that it can get wet. I love that you can feel which side to feed from in the dark and that you don't have to switch wrists. I even tried a cheaper brand and just gave it away because there was such a big quality difference. These are high quality, nice and soft, and hold up well. I will not going back to other tracking methods. The only cons are that the little pieces to track times etc don't work well. It's a nice idea but not a great execution. I don't use it for keeping track of time, just sides.
