I just received it. Is it normal that there is no blade in the package? do you have a recos on which blade to buy? I am cutting redwood pieces. 2"

A blade should have been with the saw. If you received a manual, find the customer service number, talk to them and they should make it good. As far as what blade to buy, if it is 6-1/2", it should work.

Does it have a diamond arbor?
