insane
I bought this amp a little while ago its holding in there, a big plus is it has an internal cooling fan underneath the amp so keep that in mind when installing. anyways onto the actual performance of this amp I hooked it up to two 15" Memphis power reference subwoofers and tuned it about half on gain to make sure the amp didn't blow up on me.. little did I know it wasn't the amp blowing up I needed to worry about it was my woofers this amp made the woofers physically blow them selves apart on the surround on half gain. but then again the woofers are 5 years old. anyways on to the features. it recommends 8 awg wire. no big deal youll save some money on the install, it has direct terminals that you feed the wire into the terminal and screw it down so you don't have to crimp or solder, the bass remote actually works unlike some amps ive had (btw when mounting the remote there is a blue light on the remote that tells you it is on.. that light is reaaalllllllyyy bright so mount it not aiming at your face, it does give off true wattage says so by my lovely clamp testing, plus internal cooling fan not much more you can ask for to make you a happy camper with this buy. now for the cons... unfortunately fli audio/ vibe audio have no actual dealers in the Americas you can only find a vibe or fli audio dealer in the U.K. and in the manual it counts self installs as a warranty void, also internet retailers are not supported in any way shape or form by vibe or fli audio. therefore if you are installing this amp and you live outside of the uk, make sure you or the installer know what you or they are doing upon install or else you will end up spending money for a really nice aluminum paperweight. oh and be careful mounting this amp with a power drill, the mount holes are really close to the amp therefore making mounting a challenge. I give this amp a 5/5 rating due to the many features, cooling fan, functional bass remote, and true wattage. now its up to you to believe all I have said if you don't that's ok it just gives me more time to buy a few more to play with.

Read this review first!
I recently purchased this amp despite what other reviews stated about it's quality.I have to say this in one of the better amps I've worked with. Not only have I experienced no problems with power (or fuses...), but the package itself turned out to be better than I originally anticipated! The bass control knob works great, and it came with enough length of cable to allow me to run it up the drivers side of my Civic, under the drivers foot-space carpet, and up the side of the center console to allow for sleek mounting. Also, the amp has a built in "subsonic" bass boost, which gives a small dB boost to frequencies between 15-50 Hz, which I've noticed helps with lower, harder notes. How anyone could tell an amp would blow fuses prior to installation is besides me, I installed this amp with a RF 4awg power kit to two 4ohm 12" subs myself and, as stated, haven't had a single problem yet (been about 3 weeks of heavy use).My only gripe is that it doesn't accept 4awg wire. I had to cut down the ends of my cable to make it fit snugly.Aside from that though, I would recommend this amp package to any of my friends looking to buy a reasonably economical amp that will push a reasonably strong beat.I hope this changed your mind, because I don't regret it one bit!

Great amp for the price!
I bought this at the local B&M which had it for the same price. Let me tell you I bought an Alpine Monoblock that cost 2 1/2 times what this one did first. Not to mention Alpine doesn't include the remote control, that's extra. Had issues with the Alpine, I can only assume it was defective. I bought this amp to see if it was a wiring issue and not the amp. This amp had no issues at all, so returned the Alpine and kept this. Completely satisfied with this equipment, remote is actually very useful as well. If you're considering buying a bottom bucket Boss amp, you might want to check this out first. A few clicks up in my opinion from anything in this price range. Remember Vibe owns these guys, if you want to know about Vibe simply Google BlackDeath Reaper lol.
