This is the first time using a rachet belt. It is so easy to trim to length, for a perfect fit, then slip on the buckle, making sure it is secure and away you go. so easy to wear and adjust when in use. This is a great product, great price and delivery. I will not return to normal buckle belts again. Full marks and thanks for a great product!

So far this product has been great but I have to warn you there is a small issue with the product that might just be me but then it might not!!.... The product words great generally and you might or probably will need to shorten the strap which is quite easy. ...First attach the full sized belt to the buckle by raising the clamp that comes down on the belt with spikes, push in the belt and then lower the clamp until flush as before you raised it, the spikes do the job very well in holding on ......Then once the belt is secure on the buckle then practice putting the belt when it is NOT on yourself and practice undoing the belt when it is NOT ON YOU..... Make sure your VERY happy doing this before you do ANYTHING else. When you HAVE mastered the undoing with it not worn then put it on yourself very loose and do it again. There is a lever at the front bottom of the belt that you have to lift up, but for it to do this you do have to take a bit of pressure off the belt and push the belt into the buckle a bit to release pressure to enable the release the ratchet from its position holding the belt in place. It can be a bit tricky to release which is why I suggest you practice this. Its a knack,not a straightforward thing to do all the time, so do do this practice!!........ Once your happy with doing this then and checked the length you will probably need to shorten the belt. Measure how much you think you need to take off and mark where your going to cut (If unsure do it bit by bit, I underestimated the 1st cut and did a 2nd which was then fine) ......Get a ruler and put it across the belt on a piece of waste wood or something you do not mind being cut into and hold this ruler down on the belt very very hard to stop any movement when cutting and cut through with a Stanley knife using several strokes of the knife to cut through. Then re attach tie cut belt to the buckle as you dis with the full size belt. Once you have done this then again practice taking on and off with the belt lose around you before you tighten to "full tightness"....... I am giving this warning to make sure you are not caught out by this..... After that I can report the belt works well and so far I am very happy with it. At the price its good value and if the belt wears out you can just put a new belt in the buckle, these are available I believe on the internet. I would have given a 5 star for this product but for the need for a bit of practice needed on releasing the belt. I will buy another if needed.

This is the best belt I've bought. So easy to cut to the size needed. Very easy to use. Never slips out of the rungs. This is my first ratchet belt and will be the only belt I'll be buying in future.

Have only been using this for a couple months so can't comment on longevity. However, I'll comment on what it's like to have a ratchet belt as someone who never had one before trying this one. I really like it and I think I'll stick to ratchet belts from now on. Not only do you have more control over how tight/loose you make it, but it's also easier and more satisfying to just push the buckle along until it's just how you need it instead of finding a hole. Another perk is being able to trim it down so that it's not too long. I can't think of any reason I'd go back to a conventional belt. It looks nice and sleek too. I don't know why some people are saying it's difficult to take off, I have had absolutely no issues.

Bought this belt quite a while ago, its nice, you get a fancy box, bit the black on the buckle starts coming away after a couple of months, i'm a bit of a cheapskate so just use the same belt all the time. Considering i'm only an office worker its not like it had a lot of abuse but it seems like a lot of money for something that doesn't last. I feel like these are just bulk bought, chucked in a fancy box and sent out. The belt itself lasts well, has no signs of wear so far, the mechinism works wel, If there was an obvious way to buy a new buckle I would as its simple to come off and refit. I guess you could scratch all the black off and redo it somehow but its not something i'm able or at least know how to do, might be simple enough, was tempted to paint it. I must admit I did really like the design and when it was new had a lot of positive comments, if you think of it as something to last a couple of months or if you only wear seldom it will be ideal!

The leather is excellent quality and feels lovely, the instructions are clear on how to alter the length for your size and it only takes about a minute to get it all done. The buckle design is also great, it uses a simple system like a zip-tie to stay secure and means no more ugly belt holes that fray and become weak points. The keyring it comes with is also great for attaching keys or ID to your belt for easy access if you need it, it also comes with two sizes of ring incase you have a lot of keys, which is a lovely freebie along with a nice box perfect for gifting. The variety of different buckle designs is also fantastic but the price is the best part, on the high street I've paid the same price for belts that were lower quality and not even half as stylish that only lasted a couple of months, this company and product are miles better. Would highly recommend to all, this is a great belt and you won't find anything that compares without paying three times it price.

The belt came well-packaged with a gift box and ribbon (although this is unnecessary for an item you are buying for yourself). The matching key fob with carabiner-style clip and two keyrings is a nice touch. The metal parts all had protective film on when shipped. The belt was easy to cut to length using a kitchen knife, but some guidance on this would have been helpful. I cut the belt so that when the buckle was attached the ratchet section on the reverse of the belt would be at its mid-point - so I have room to expand or to lose weight! However, if you do set the belt to the middle of the ratchet it does leave quite a long tongue. The buckle attaches fairly easily and has not come loose since. The ratchet is easily released with a small lever under the belt - again it would have been good to have instructions, although it is fairly obvious. The ratchet system means that you can have the belt at exactly the tightness you want and there is a generous range of sizing. There is quite a strong smell from the belt when new. I assume this will fade over time. I cannot comment on durability yet as I have only been wearing it for one week. So far I am very pleased with this purchase.

Franchement, à ce prix-là, je pensais recevoir un bout de plastique qui fait « couic »... et pourtant, c’est une vraie ceinture en cuir ! Solide, bien finie, elle fait clairement le job. La boucle automatique claque (dans tous les sens du terme), c’est hyper pratique à ajuster. Et non, elle ne s’effiloche pas au bout de deux jours, merci bien. En plus, elle arrive dans une boîte cadeau avec un petit porte-clés – sympa pour un cadeau fissa, genre fête des pères ou collègue en galère de style. ✅ Vrai cuir à petit prix ✅ Boucle qui ajuste nickel ❌ Ne se téléporte pas toute seule dans ton pantalon, faut encore lever les bras 😏
