An absolute bargain - quality
Excellent quality duvet using the some of the best down available.Ok, so I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to this stuff, so hope you enjoy this.... The “fill power” of down is indicative of the “loft” of the insulation and it’s warmth to weight ratio. This duvet contains 800 fill power down, which rivals the down used in high-end mountaineering jackets and sleeping bags where insulation and weight can be very important. Whilst the weight of your duvet may not obviously be high in your list of priorities (!) it is worth paying attention to.... 800 fill power means that far less down is needed to achieve the same warmth rating as inferior down/feather products,,,,, Also, the construction method uses baffles to ensure that there is no risk of cold spots that you can get when a duvet is simply stitched through i.e the design is great too.All of this translates to a really comfortable light weight and more breathable duvet for you and I.There are no obvious prickles from feather shafts either (cheaper “down” fillings use more feathers, often thicker ones and the shafts can pierce the fabric of a duvet). I saw no evidence of this.If you check out similar goose down products at John Lewis etc they will cost 3 times the price so this duvet is a real bargain. The only difference I can see is in the thread count of the cotton used- it is a little lower than the top end £500 goose down duvets you can get elsewhere. I decided I could live with that ! (And I think high cotton thread counts = stiffer sheets?). Anyway, I expect this duvet will last years as the cotton used is still great quality and it’s really the quality of the down inside that matters most.My experience of synthetic duvets in the past has been that they are bulkier and tend to overheat (they don’t breath as well). NB if you are storing a down product treat it more gently than a synthetic and pack it away fairly loose otherwise you will crush the contents and damage them)Hopefully, all of the above makes common sense and if you’ve read this far you are probably are wearing leather shoe owning person who is more or less happy with using feathers from birds (which, like leather, are another by product of the meat industry.....according to veganpeace.com). This can be an emotive topic for some and could explain the odd low scoring review on here. Each to their own I guess. I’m off to sleep.

Lovely bedding
I was really pleased with this bedding set. It’s better value to get the duvet and pillows together, the quality is fantastic, the feathers are soft and fluffy with no spiky bits and the warmth is just right. It was the best deall I could find for the down /feather ratio. Very happy with my purchase and I would recommend.

Luxury
This is luxury, it is soft but fluffs up amazinglyI find this keeps me cooler that synthetic pillows, but I use it with a silk pillowcase, both bought on offer using gift cards from family for birthday/christmas, (I save these up to treat me and my hubby 😃)

Very light, very soft and warm
I've had one of Amazon's UMI brand feather & down quilts for a while now, and I love it. However I bought my son a Snuggledown Hungarian down pillow and I was so impressed with it I fancied a down quilt for myself, so when they dropped in price a bit, I bought one with some birthday money I got and topped up the balance myself. I paid £129, which is pretty reasonable for one of these quilts, but when I got it, I was surprised at how light it was. My UMI quilt is 85% feather and 15% down, and is pretty heavy, but very cosy and warm, and is a very comfy quilt. This 20% feather and 80% down quilt is far lighter than the feather quilt, and on first examination, I have to admit I was a bit disappointed as I quite like the weight of my existing quilt. That said, it's every bit as warm as my UMI quilt, which is hardly surprising as it's the same 13.5 TOG rating, but it's a lot lighter. So having tried both, I can tell you that if you want a snuggly-warm quilt and prefer a heavier quilt, then buying one with a high feather content and a lower down content is the way to go. If you prefer a lighter quilt, then a quit filled with mostly down is the way to go. The mostly-down quilt isn't warmer than the feather one, it's just a lot lighter.Hand on heart, I think I prefer the heavier quilt at the moment, which is a bit disappointing, but I'll see if I get used to the down quilt after a few weeks. I'm a big 6'4" 16st man , so a heavy quilt suits me and to be honest, I'm used to it. However if you're not quite as freakishly large as me, a light king-size quilt might make changing your bedding easier than struggling with a heavy quilt every few days. But it'll cost you!

Excellent summer duvet
Beautiful quality if you can afford them.Warm enough and yet cool enough in our house. They have a lovely feel to them and they wrap around your body in a very cosy way.

Top quality
80% down makes this quilt very light and very efficient. Warm as soon as you get under it and much lighter than other quilts.

Excellent product
The duvets are just what I wanted and at a competitive price. They were better than those on sale at a major department store at double the price. Very good value for great comfort.

The down collects in one place
The product quality is poor. The Down collects in once place.Haven’t washed it and use is seldom

10/10 Would recommend
Super warm and cozy! I used to to replace my previous Marks and Spencer 10.5 Tog duck feather duvet. Initially this seemed "thinner" because it's mostly down rather than feather but its a lot cozier and warmer
