I have been looking for a cookie jar for my coffee station for years! Yes, years! And not just any cookie jar. I know, I know! Something french country, simple yet elegant. Something perhaps vintage looking, as if I found it in a little antique shop or flea market. Nothing too large because I wanted it to fit in the corner of my counter without taking up precious space. Well, my oh my, did I ever find it in this little charmer! First off, the sweet bird and floral wreath just captured my heart. And it's a gorgeous simple black motif! The color of the jar is a lovely light beige, not white. The narrow black stripes are just perfect. The print on my is also perfect! My came in pristine condition with no issues. The inside is nice and smooth with no rough spots! I love the handle, too. It's very easy to grasp and lift off. The seal around the underside of the lid works as it should. The dimensions are exactly as stated in the description, so if your interested, I recommend reading those over. This pretty cookie jar does hold alot of cookies for my purpose. Now if your someone who likes to put out every single cookie for the next 3 weeks, perhaps this isn't the one for you. What I like to do is put out enough for maybe 3 or 4 days and the remainder I keep in a storage container or plastic lock bag in my pantry and refill my jar as needed. I don't know what else to say about this newest pretty addition to my kitchen. I'm very happy with my purchase and it really looks right at home on my counter. If your in the market for a very sweet, vintage style, simple yet elegant, french country cookie jar, well I think you'll fall in love with this one! I did!

Jar looks small, but turns out to be the perfect size. Does not take up too much space on the counter.

You can get a good idea of its size from the photo. It's between a SMEG juicer and a large Kitchenaid bowl-lift mixer. It isn't going to hold dozens of cookies....but then you will freeze half and/or give half away, right? It suited my needs perfectly and it matches the cream French motif canisters on the opposite side of the sink -- therefore, I had to have it! The cookie jar is very well made and it even has a "rubber" gasket around the inside of the lid so it sits very securely onto the jar, keeping the contents fresh. It was packaged with great care and it arrived at 4:48 AM. I ordered it last night. It also came with a thank you card that also ensures great customer service, should you require it. I will not require it.

I suppose I didn't really need a cookie jar but I had been wanting one for awhile. I had looked at several trying to decide what I wanted. I liked the French logo so I got it and I'm happy with the way it looks in my kitchen. It looks and feels how I expected and I'm happy with the size.

I love this cookie jar. It arrived very well packaged and protected. It looks beautiful on my kitchen counter. I would say it is just a little bit on the smaller side of the cookie jars I grew up with but much more size appropriate for smaller kitchens and counter space. It will still hold plenty of cookies though and I am so glad I bought it.

Really pretty biscuit jar, but sadly it arrived damaged so I had to return it.

It is the perfect size, will easily hold 20 thin medium sized cookies. Lovely sealed lid, packaged perfectly and it looks wonderful in my kitchen.
