Set of 2 Jumbo Wash Bags for Delicate Clothing (1 White, 1 Black) By InsideSmarts

I began using the "InsideSmarts delicates Laundry Wash Bags" after I bought my first pairs of super soft leggings from a newer clothing line. The company advises all their clothing either be hand-washed, washed on "gentle", or washed on the "handwash" setting. My daughter, who sells this clothing line, swears by these lingerie bags for keeping her clothes from "wearing" or "pilling". Not wanting my new clothes to snag or pill, I went looking for lingerie bags. So far, so fabulous! I am impressed by the quality of the bags. I have used them at least a dozen times each and they, along with my clothes, still look brand spanking new! The fine mesh is made extremely well. The mesh is super fine, with the holes so tiny, there is no chance of a hook or button getting caught in the mesh like other bags I have used in the past. Don't worry, your clothing inside still gets just as wet and clean as it would if it were loose I the washer. Diffrence being, you won't be worrying about your first delicately made camisole,or whatever getting snagged. Another huge plus with this brand bag is the zipper tab cover. The zipper tab slides easily under the cover and fits snuggly. ,To my surprise, the zipper tab stays tucked away - even after going through the spin cycle! Having a nearly new front load washer, my big worry about any laundry bag was the zippers scratching and/or gouging the imside. No chance of that happening - well, unless I were to neglect tucking the zipper! Plus, with the zipper securely covered, there's no annoying clang-clang of the zipper on the inside of the washer! The laundry bags are getting used for way more articles of clothing than just delicates and unmentionables. Now, I am using the bags for any item with a zipper, snap, hook or large buttons. Problem solved - no more snags, broken sweater buttons and no more bra hooks getting bent or stuck in the machine's drain holes! With each of these items going into a protective bag, I'm in need of at least a couple more sets! You can bet I will be buying this same brand!

I have been using these wash bags for 6 months now and I am very happy with them. They are as intact as when I received them; no signs of wear, seams coming apart, or broken/unwound zippers. At first I was afraid the tighter mesh would not allow the items I put in the bags to get clean, but that concern has not been a problem at all. The items are just as clean as if I had thrown them in loose into the load (which is obviously not a good idea for delicate things). I love the tighter mesh as it does not catch on zippers or buttons and end up in a tangled mess at the end of a wash cycle. The fabric is smooth and slips around easily in the wash. I love that the zipper pull can be slid under it's own little cover so it will not open during the cycle. I use them for underwear, bras, blouses, knit items, and other small items... anything I am afraid might get damaged, destroyed or lost in the washer. Not much more to say except these bags are far better than the cheaper ones found in grocery/drug stores. I am going to buy another set for travel/camping. Would love if these came in more colors. ETA 06/06/2018: One minor problem. When I pull the bag out of the washer... the ends of the zipper (on the side where the zipper pull slides under it's little cover)... I guess the cut ends were either cut too short or were not sewn in well enough (or both), because they come out. I have to take tweezers and grab the end and poke one or both back in. If I wasn't so lazy I'd take some white thread and sew them down better. I never seem to remember until it happens again. Probably every third use or so. Happens on the smaller white ones. Otherwise, two years later... the bags are still going strong.

What can I say... I've been looking for a long time for "delicates" bags like these with fine mesh. The previous ones I've had, had larger holes in the mesh, and the bra hooks were always catching on them.... Very annoying! I have now ordered two sets of these because I sometimes need more than four per load (I have a daughter whose clothes ALL seem to say "hand wash" (which to me means, put it in a bag on delicate cycle):-)). Anyway, these are really great bags. I use them all the time and they are of excellent quality. I've never had a zipper come open in the wash which has been an issue with previous bags. Also, in my house, laundry is a group effort, and everyone knows that if it went into the washer in a bag, that it does not go into the dryer, but should be "hang dry." So, no mishaps with stuff going into the dryer that shouldn't. (Although I understand that these bags also hold up well in the dryer.) Lastly, you need to know about the customer service of the company that sells these, InsideSmarts. The second time I ordered them, the large black bag had a hole in the mesh about the size of a dime. When I clicked on my order in Amazon, my only choice was to package them all up and return them. Instead I emailed InsideSmarts and asked if they would just replace the one bag. I didn't care if I got another black one or white one, I just wanted another large bag to replace the one with a hole in it. Well, they did better than that. They sent me a whole new package of four bags and did not require me to go through the hassle of returning the ones I already had. Excellent and exemplary customer service!!!

Works as advertised. I successfully washed my JCPenny's Stafford (polyester/wool and wool) suits using these laundry bags and using the delicate machine washing cycle. I also remove the garments just after (or just prior if you're paranoid from) the last spin begins. If you plan on washing two suits at once, I would recommend buying a second set of these four laundry bags. Two are large laundry bags, and two are small laundry bags. The smaller ones are adequate for vests or other smaller items. Here's how I wash my wool/polyester blend suits. 1) Turn the suits inside out. 2) Loosely fold each garment in half by the length, and then one more time loosely in half by width. (Similar to quickly folding any clothing item.) 3) Insert one garment loosely per bag and zip each bag closed. 4) Using a (GE) machine washer using the delicate cycle, start the cycle and add half the required (unscented Seventh Generation) detergent. (People say use half of the required detergent or use Woolite. Probably depends more upon how dirty the garments are.) 5) Just after (or prior to) the second or final gentle spin, I remove the wool or wool blend garments. 6) Hang the items and allow to air dry. Trousers should be hung from the belt end instead of folded over a hanger, as folding over a hanger will cause a crease while drying. For the suit coats, I add crumpled-up news paper to the shoulders after placing on a hanger, although this doesn't appear to be required for my suits coats to dry well. The wool and wool/polyester suits seem to dry readily within a day or so during the Summer. Creases are not as crisp as those resulting from dry cleaning. Wrinkles are few, if any. NOTE: If any inadvertent creases or wrinkles appear, I easily remove the creases or wrinkles by spraying with clean water and allowing the garment to dry again properly. There are also steamers available for purchasing for removing wrinkles, but the steamers are probably just doing the same thing except not requiring the longer dry times!

UPDATE: Customer Service was quick to respond to this review and offered a completely new set of bags. Service was definitely above and beyond!! Original Post: I really love these bags. I loathe hand washing clothing. With these bags and the delicate cycle, I can safely wash most of my hand washables using my washing machine now! Plus, I can mix fabric types. Washing a fuzzy sweater and a rayon dress together - no problem - the fuzz from the sweater stays in the bag. My only complaint is with the large white bag - the zipper broke after the second wash. And when I reached out to customer service regarding an exchange I never received a reply. That incident aside, the product is excellent.

I was looking for laundry bag to replace my tattered tide laundry bags. I came across these and because of all the great reviews I decide to purchase some. Upon finish ordering I got an email from the company thanking me for my purchase (always a nice touch) and promise to check in with me to make sure I was satisfy with the products. First impression these bags are well made. The elastic strip to hold the zipper is ingenious!! I hate when my tide metal zipper clanking in the wash. I love the different sizes they provide and the dark bag for dark garments is a bit gimmicky but probably nice to have. When I went to use these one out of 4 bags, one end of the elastic strip was sew into the edge so I couldn't tuck the zipper in all the way. Annoying but really didn't interfere with the purpose of the bag anyway. When the company email me to check on the product I mentioned this to them and without a moment of hesistation offer to send me a replacement product! Two days later I received the replacement bag. Great customer service and genuinely care about customer satisfaction. So far the bag hold up great! Get a bit softer with every wash. I am so happy with the purchase. I will buy more for my parents as well as the inlaw.

After having the zippers break on two different Tide Mesh Bags, construction was one the major criteria in choosing these mesh laundry bags. Included in the package are two larger bags – one white and one black – and two smaller white bags that are perfect for delicates or for infant socks and booties. Construction of “Delicates Laundry Bags by Inside Smarts” is outstanding. The fine mesh bags close using a nylon zipper that has a “plastic” pull. The pull is larger than on most other commercially available mesh laundry bags; this makes it easy to grasp. The pull slides under an elastic “cover”; this helps prevent it from breaking in the washer during spin cycles or in the dryer. The seams and inside edges of each bag appear to be finished using a French seam. This is one mark of quality construction. If you are tired of cheap mesh laundry bags that tear or on which the zippers break easily, I definitely recommend “Delicates Laundry Bags by Inside Smarts”. The quality of construction, the number and different sizes of bags included in the package are well worth the price. ($16.95 when I bought them.) LOVE THESE BAGS! I was looking for something similar to bags I had purchased from a local bath store. I WAS BEYOND excited at the quality of these bags, far better than what I even had!! They are heavy duty, thick to hold up well with coats, heavy socks, etc. I also like the heavier bags for my expensive clothing knowing it will not get damaged in the wash. I recently purchased a 3 slotted basket and it works out great because I clip these bags to the the inside and my family is able to immediately separate their underclothes and hand wash items which save me a lot of time. I must say, I was also VERY impressed to receive a very heart-felt hand written letter from the family business selling these bags thanking me for the purchase. I'm in business and we send send out hand written Thank You's to our customers as well, which in this day and age, is extremely rare. It is nice to know that you are not just a customer making a purchase on Amazon but that you made a difference in helping out a small business by purchasing from their online store.
