Nice little machine
I got this machine to make stuffed animals and toys for my girls. It works well and does all the basic stuff I need. I’ve read the reviews of this machine before I got it. Some said it’s not heavy duty. Well I don’t have any heavy duty jobs to test it but I don’t think this machine is designed for heavy duty jobs. It’s small and lightweight. Easy for beginners like myself. Also if you don’t have a sewing area or have little kids running around at home, it’s easy to put the sewing machine on top of a shelf or in a closet. It really doesn’t take much space.

Piece of junk
This was bought for my eight year old as a Christmas present .First of all its very hard to do the bobbin thread you just have to get creative and push the thread through as the needle will NEVER pick it up .Secondly the stitches are not that great either but wasn’t a deal breaker as it was intended for learning . Now it’s less than two months after Christmas and it’s not stitching the fabric at all . Watched all the videos that is associated with this machine via Amazon and YouTube and to no avail. This was not abused cause I’m an experienced seamstress and and each time she used it was always supervised. So to the next intended customer Do Not Buy , don’t waste your money ,I’m not getting mine back , not worth the frustration and disappointment of my eight year old .

Not recommended for adults/professionals -perfect for teens/ person or with foot issues
This machine is a bit younger than I am but I still wanted to try it. I would not recommend for professionals or adults but more for a teen, someone just learning to sew or a person that has foot challenges that prevents them from using the pressor foot.PositivesThis machine is small and will fit in a small area well.It has an awesome feature which allows the machine to automatically sew without using the pressor foot. The manual is come with a poster for user instructions that can be posted on the wall for beginners. Many options for stiches.Areas for improvementThe machine does not stitch on the first try, I had to tune it and try multiple times before it worked well. The pressor foot is too frail, it will not last long. The machine tends to cut regular thread but works well with the thread that came with it, those threads seem to have a thicker feel.

Dinky, falls apart, impossible to thread.
I got this machine about a year ago, and couldn't use it because I broke my hip. When I began to get better - COVID! I loaned it to a friend, an expert seamstress, to make masks. She HATED it. Gave it back. Now I have a friend over trying to help me with it She also is an expert.Threading - IMPOSSIBLE! So hard to get the bobbin thread through. So hard to thread altogether! And then when she tried to raise the foot it came off in her hand.It is a WASTE OF MONEY. Go to the Singer site, or the Brother site and buy a refurbished machine for the same money. It will last a lifetime. I wish I could get my money back!

For the occasional sewer or novice
Im an adult woman who never really "learned" to sew, but nonetheless, I still do it from time to time. Mostly just straight stitches to hem something or take in a shirt. I had a "real" machine in the past and it was good, but confusing yo me at times. This machine is very basic, has superb instructions, and is lightweight for being out/storing.I used it to hem drapes and because the speed is fixed at slowish/medium, I had the straightest hem ever! Lol Later I tried to sew some hook and loop tape, and unfortunately this little machine kept jamming up. So maybe a different needle would have made the difference. In the end I gave up and used adhesive h&l tape.I recommend this to anyone who only wants to straight stitch every now and again. Or for someone new to sewing, it would be the perfect machine on which to learn.

Good basic machine
Good machine for beginners and those who are looking for a machine that can do basic tasks without having to spend money or spend time learning a complicated process for a machine that is more than they need. Bought the machine for basic use and for making decorative items for the house.I love my sewing machine! I had never had a sewing machine before. I had never used a sewing machine before. I taught myself how to sew. I was amazed on how easy it was to learn. It's one of those things that if I could learn anybody could. Would recommend!

Waste of money and dangerous
After reading all the reviews we wanted a simple, small, light weight machine for beginners. We bought this machine in june 19. It has been used twice since then in. The 2nd time it presented tension issues. The third time we ran a new bobbin, and all of a sudden it starts sewing with out touching the presser foot. Even disconnected it still sewed. Then it locked up. As my 10 yr old was the person this was intended for I would never buy one again. Also there is no way to contact the company. There also is no warranty. I spent 65$ for less then one hour of sewing....pls be careful if this is being bought for a child as an experienced seamstress almost sewed her finger trying to get it to work
