This product was extremely flimsy, and made my phone overheat to the point that it would not charge. Even when it did work, it was not a fast charge at all. My cable to jack charged much faster. I returned it.

My wife and I both have the Galaxy S7 and they are both protected by the OtterBox Defender case. Before purchasing this wireless charger, I read through the questions and answers to see if it would work without removing the case. It's a pain in the butt to put the phone in the case and remove it again, and if it wouldn't work with the phone in the case, it wouldn't work for us. Also, the little tab that covers the USB charging port broke off of the OtterBox cases on our old phones after 3 years of opening and closing the tab. Wireless charging sounded like the perfect solution if it would work with the OtterBox case installed.We ordered one of these chargers and tried it out and it worked great for both phones while in the cases. We liked this wireless charger so much that we bought a 2nd one so we don't have to share. For some reason this will not charge my J5 2016. Obviously a compatibility issue even though it did work with other chargers. I have now upgraded to a J5 2017 using the same Woodheart reciever card and now this is working perfect. It is just as quick at charging as through a lead and my phone is pretty cold while charging. Even though the phone cuts off charging when the battery is fully charged the charger does not and all the chargers I have tried have the same problem. Probably because a charging card works different to an internal built in wireless charger and it needs to be constantly powered. It will also not charge wirelessly if the battery is totally dead so the key thing is not to totally drain the battery and there will not be a problem. I find using this works flawlessly and just as reliable as using a cable. Quick disclaimer, I did not pay for this item as it was given to me by .Compared to some of the other wireless chargers I've used, this one works and it works well.Its ability to hold your phone is unmatched, it's an easy durable stand which charges your phone through the case (Spigen 055CS22246 [Tough Armor 2]) works both vertically and horizontally which is actually super convenient for charging and watching videos.I thought I'd want a flat charger that you place your phone on rather than what looks like a dock but after using it I'd pick this ever time.I have have 2 issues with it,first is everyone in my house keeps stealing it.Second is inconvenient if you are in a rush, sometimes when you plug it into a multiport it wont recognise that it's plugged in and wont charge. This is fixed by unplugging and trying differnt ports on the multiport. It has worked in every port and I've tested all 5 ports charging at once and they work so I'm not sure how else to explain it which is why I gave it a 4/5 stars on ease

I bought this cordless charger as my charging plate would stop charging halfway through the night if it moved slightly.This one came well packaged and I was pleasantly surprised by how it looks, and the quality and looks very sturdy, inside the box was the USB charge cable, and the manual, The colour is black and very easy to use you just needed to plug the USB cable in and then put my S7 edge on and it charged straight away, the light on it stays blue when not charging and turns green while charging, I love the fact that your phone stays in 1 place and won't fall or move and stop charging for any reason, and also it has 2 contacts on the plate so my phone will charge either upright or horizontally, and every other charging plate I have I've had to take my phone case off to charge as it didn't read it, this one however I've got a thick case on my phone and charges with it on no problem, I am glad I got this wireless charger and would recommend it to anyone.

Had mine since july 2017 , thought it would be a great idea to have on my night stand ,just pop my phone on it at night then remove in morning when i get up, thing is the blue led is so bright it lights up my room & no way to turn it off or down, it kept me awake so had to put it under my bed(not the products fault) It has a blue led when not in use, when you charge your phone the led turns green, when complete it turns a lighter blue. my phone charged great & still does but i think the charger has developed a fault, when charging the green led no longer comes on, its just off, & sometimes you can hear the charger giving out a high pitch whining sound when either in use or not. It still charges fine though for now.The unit does charge well if you have a phone case on your phone but much quicker if you take your phone out of it.Edit: customer care has been in touch with me & has offered me a refund for the faulty unit,So i give customer care 5 stars

The product arrived well packaged, and undamaged. Furthermore, when plugged in, all electrics and connectiosn were secure, and working. Upon testing the product, it did as was expected, and charged the phone (iPhone 8)) very quickly relative to other wireless chargers. However, as expected, it charged much slower than what a standard cable would charge it for a given length of time. However, given the fact that the charging process when going wireless, is a much more hassle-free process, then it can be concluded that the overall process is definitely worth the price paid for the product.In addition, this was purchased as a Father's Day present, and is indeed much loved by the old man, as it makes charging his phone so much more easier when he does not need it, as there is no worry about the charging cable itself breaking up and becoming unusable like with the standard lightning cable!
