Bought this calulator for my 2 year college course, well made and easy to use. Lasted the 2 years, what more could i ask for.

Our daughter needed a new scientific calculator for her new secondary school and I was tasked with finding one. Well, the calculators I was allowed to use in high school and college were fairly basic at the time and the more advanced, scientific ones quite expensive. To my surprise scientific calculators these days are friendly priced. However they also seem quite advanced.. It made me realise that I won’t be able to help my daughter much with explain how it works. It seemed to be filled will load os of new functionality and has a bigger, much more helpful display. I’m getting old and so is my trusted decades-old Casio scientific calculator, that I can t always count on, on special equations. though it is still going strong and I still do use it from time to time even in these days of handy apps and iPhones. The only thing is that most of my ancient scientific calculators looked quite sleek powered by solar cells and were much, much thinner and lighter, which would be easier to carry along to school. But then again as with many thins calculators may be ugly on the outside, but it is the inside what counts!

This calculator is the ideal calculator for GCSE students. I had the same model previously until it was lost battery lasts a long time and is extremely reliable Casio name I trust because of the previous items I bought with this brand name but however brand can fall over the years. I asked my son how the new calculator is he said it's good and very useful and easy to use. It's good to have the right equipment before tests in school. I can say Casio still does not disappoint me with great company.

This is one in a range of calculators that may be used for any secondary school maths for GCSE and A levels and beyond. It does not have a graphics capability but the functions that are available cover a wide range of applications. The display is configuarable for linear presentation or as a math presentation found in textbooks. It is important to pay attention to the display configuration as not all functions work in all all confugurations. However, it is easy to use once the display configuration is mastered. The Casio range in probably the de-facto standard for calculators and it is easy to operate different models as they all use similar settings. I would fully recommend this calculator for school and college alike.
