The NyQuil of days gone by worked best, but this is an o.k. substitution. I like the cool. Vapor action is good. The price was reasonable as well.

Reminds me of the NyQuil from "the old days", both in effectiveness and in taste! It's kind of like liquifying several of the Vick's menthol cough drops and swigging it down. Definitely helped me to sleep through the night without congestion and coughing. I took an unexpected, extended trip back east. Coming home I was in the airport and airplanes literally all day (7AM to 6:45PM). Sadly, picked something up from the trip. After a couple of days of not getting better I decided to go back to one of the old remedies. Because of the kids swiping the old NyQuil from the stores to get drunk on, they changed the "recipe" years ago. The product was still good, but not as effective -- took longer to get over the cold or flu. This stuff goes back to my day...more like the original formula, which I'm sure is why you have to provide proof of being "of age" in order to purchase it! As we all have been told, nothing is better to help your body recuperate than getting plenty of sleep. Took a few days (nights), but this stuff definitely cleared it up and allowed me to sleep through the night in the meantime.

The tile is misleading it is NOT nighttime relief medicine.\ for sleeping. .But we do use it for daytime and works great for sore throats and it is running-out where we live in Willamette Valley .

Best and strongest cough and flu remedy when congestion is at maximum level. Strong menthol flavor is like an instant sinus clearance. Soothing for sore throats. Helps tremendously in getting to sleep when sick. The price here is cheaper by a couple of dollars to grocery stores and pharmacies. This is arguably the best version of Nyquil available. No wonder it's almost always out of stock in stores.

I really like this Call lol when I am stuffed up and can't sleep. It does a great job of immediately opening my sinus and soothes my throat. I have to take it right before I go to bed, if I get up in the night to take it I still feel tired in the morning. It lasts all night for me.

This worked out great. Good strength as always. Tastes ok. I needed this cos I have the flu. It works better than other brands. I only buy this one. Highly recommend!

I purchased 2 bottle's at the same time thru Amazon. One has an expiration of 9/2022 and the other 10/22 This Vicks NuQuil Severe with VaporCool REALLY, REALLY WORKS. As soon as you swallow it, you feel the vapors explode into your chest and your nose immediately opens up. It's like you swallowed an entire tin of Altoids. It LASTS a long time too ( if you don't dilute it with fluids) and lets you sleep at night without that hacking cough every few seconds. I couldn't find it locally ( sold out) and I was desperate to find it. Been struggling with a chest cold for 2 weeks and this is the only stuff that helped me at night to get rest. Don't hesitate...... once you try it, you'll never go back to regular NyQuil if you've got a cold.
