Lactation supplement is a very important one if milk secretion is not upto the mark or if more is required. When we were in the hospital for the baby delivery we were given a supplement named 'Galact granules', a supplement which had 8 ingredients and the main ingredient being Shatavari (Asparagus Recemosus 15grams). I was searching for similar lactation supplement and found Mamalait exactly similar and this product Zandu Striveda. This Striveda has 20g of Shatavari a galactogogue which helps increasing milk quantity. Apart from it there are no other beneficial ingredients added like Mamalait which a bit of a let down. This product has increased the lactation to a a certsin level and has helped as we use Hakaa pump which only works when the lactation is good. The milk supply has gone up a bit, not drastically but okay. My wife uses 1.5 teaspoon around 7g to 8g and mixes with warm milk, and drinks twice daily with. Though it says chocolate flavour it doesn't give a very chocolatey flavor but gives slight taste and colour like other lactation supplement. We bought several other products like Mamalait, Galact granules , Merylact granules and this product Striveda is very good but Mamalait is excellent from our experience as updated by my wife. Though it has more (20g) Shatavari than Mamalait (15g) we wish it had other beneficial ingredient like Galact or Mamalait which blended together with Shatavari becomes beneficial for new moms. Overal this is good product considering the quantity for the price and especially the effectiveness in increasing the milk quantity but Mamalait and Galact were much better in our experience.

I have used when my milk supply was reduced and seen this in Amazon and tried.To my wonder it worked very well for me. I felt the flow change within a week. Even my baby was comfortable with feeds and gained good weight. Smell is good, taste is ok. Overall, Striveda Made me a stress free breastfeeding mom with a happy & healthy baby.

It's the best product for the mothers who are surviving for breast milk, i used all the remidies for my breast milk like methi , jeera water, other brand shatavari but there was no result, I started using formula milk for my baby, I was very upset then I searched for this product on google, when I started to use striveda I have no complains about my milk i can feed my baby as per his hunger thank you striveda......!!!!!

It did not give positive results for me, I took it for lactation support but did not notice much change is milk supply even after 2weeks. Taste is ok, granules will stay in mouth while drinking it. It might work for someone else, it depends on body type. Can try once. I tried Shatavari Kalpa after failing with Striveda and I am happy with the outcome, my milk supply increased within 2days. One can give a try with Shatavari kalpa (tastes far better than striveda) if this product did not work.
