Car charger only charges at third of speed as home charger
The batteries, case, and props are good. The car charger is not. It only charges at 1/3 of speed as home charger, even with engine running. It appears to be a design flaw. Go aftermarket with the car charger. That was a big part of why I bought this so only 2 stars.Update: The cigarette plug itself was at fault. The connection was poor and causing a low voltage condition to the charger, causing the charger to reset continuously. That's why I thought it was only charging at a third of the speed of the home charger. I hacked it a bit, cutting off the cigarette plug and putting on 30 amp anderson powerpole connections to custom power ran from the truck battery. It charges fine now. That's when I found out the power cord is actually shielded coaxial style cable with stranded ground surrounding the inner positive wire.
