Lake Lite Solar Marine Light

Consumer BEWARE!! The bad review goes to BIC warehouse. I ordered this light and they sent the wrong one, and when it arrived it didn't work either :-(. Then it got worse... When I tried getting a replacement they told me they didn't even have a blue light!? Thats false advertising and I was upset. I finally called Amazon who told me since the sale came through BIC I needed to deal with them. Now I just wanted a refund, and when I tried getting that I emailed and called them for OVER 3 weeks before I got the issue resolved. Excuses, lack of action from BIC made this my WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!! During my waiting I called the manufacturer (http://lakelite.com) and learned my defective light was being sold by a non authorized re-seller and the light wasn't even theirs, but a Canadian copy?! I ended up buying directly from lakelite who has the original design and got it AND LOVED IT!! The design, custom extended run-time battery and the overall quality of the light from lakelite was outstanding!! I would highly recommend the OEM's light to anyone that wants a 'best in class product'. If you want just a couple of hours of runtime on your dock lights then go to Home Depot and buy a $5 solar light... But if you truly need a full 'all night' run on your light, then go buy a lakelite product!!! In fact after visiting their website I discovered other types of solar light products that they sell and have bought some post mounted solar lights that blow away the competition!! Don't waste your time or try to save money on ANY 'Dock Edge' product as they are terrible products!! Ordered 3 lights and all 3 were defective!! Summary.... Avoid dealing with BIC Warehouse for any purchases and only buy true lakelite products!!!
