These are the greatest trem springs that I have ever used. However, in order to install the hooked ends into your trem block, you made need to file the excess material from the hook. My best guess is there is no step taken to finish the hook end after it is crudely cut from the spring material stock. 30-60 seconds on a flat metal file was sufficient. Using 4 of the 5 strings from the pack in an Yngwie Signature Stratocaster.

These work on a Floyd Rose! Installed them on my Ibanez because it was no longer holding tension and it is back to normal. Great product!

I bought these for a squire standard I have been modding. I put a Duncan JB in it and it really brought out the annoying spring noise. These springs completely eliminated it. Sounds worlds better.

For Floyd Rose Special, it was NOT good. Every time I used the whammy after putting these springs in, the guitar did not return to pitch...not even close..not sure if they needed to be "broken in" or w.e. never had to "break in" new springs before so...I put the old springs back in and it works now. Unfortunately, still having a little unwanted noise from the old springs... bummer

These Springs are only for American made Tremolo's. They were to long for my Korean PRS and my Indonesian made Ibanez. I had to cut them shorter. Not easy without the proper tools. Also they have a rubber wrap which moves. Other spring companies dip the spring so their coated on all sides.
