Excellent product

I purchased the steam cooker in September, 2021. Unfortunately, the timer of the cooker went out of order within January, 2022,i.e.,within four months from the date of purchase. Fortunately, the Glen Service Centre at Kolkata on receipt of my complaint replaced the timer free of cost. Thereafter, I found to my utter surprise this morning, that after boiling eggs the steaming bowl no.1 developed a crack automatically,perhaps, being unable to withstand the heat. Accordingly, I lodged a complaint to the manufacturer by email at their registered email ID. In reply to my complaint they informed that the steaming bowl cannot develop crack unless it is not damaged mechanically. Therefore, I am to pay the cost of the bowl for replacement. It is really very disappointing that having the product two years warranty and another one year's extended warranty I am to incur monetary loss for no fault of mine.

Excellent product for cooking vegetables by steamingr and then adding masalas in Kadai for nutrition rich diet wherein the vegetables don't loose their nutritional values

This steam cooker is not at all user friendly and customer satisfactory product. It is not understandable, why the containers are oval, boat shaped. It is very difficult to find oval, boat shaped stainless steel bowls to steam rice, dal , vegetables and fish inside the containers. The height of the containers is so small that it cannot insert a 8 inch height bowl with lid. The company should make the containers of the same size and the height 12 cm. The company should also make round shaped preferably stainless-steel containers so that all bowls can fit inside the containers. The company should also give a green or yellow colour border at the base of each container so that people can easily see that all containers are kept in their respective positions without any gap. There is no coloured indicator arrow (red, black) for old people to see at what time period he has set the timer. If there is any gap, steam can leak out, making the food half boiled. Moreover, I am not happy with the purchase. Our maid servant is also finding it difficult to carry the boat shaped bowls along with round shaped bowls for washing downstairs with tap water. I also want to know why India is not making this product. Why still India has to depend on China to manufacture this steam cooker.
