I received these LED bulbs quickly and in good condition. They are exactly as shown on the product page. These bulbs are closer in size to the G8 halogen bulbs they replace than the LED bulbs I had purchased from a different seller on Amazon, and those bulbs were a mixed bag of quality, with about half of them failing rather quickly, after about 2 months in service, and the other half lasted pretty good, at 12 to 18 months. These new LEDs are a little smaller and fit the small fixtures very well, and the color of the light is very good, close to that of the G8 halogen. I am happy with this order so far, but of course, the longevity of these bulbs remains to be seen. In appearance, I would rate them as looking like a higher quality construction than the previous order. These are high tech products, but worth the extra money over G8 halogens, which in general have a lifespan of about 3 to 6 months and operate at a blistering temperature, literally. These replacement LED bulbs operate at a very low temperature by comparison, feeling just a little warm, and you can easily touch them when they are on with your bare fingers. You wouldn't dare touch G8 halogen bulbs that are operating because you would instantly get a nasty burn. The reason I went to these LED bulbs in the first place is because G8 halogen burn so hot they made the wood in the bottom of the cabinet VERY warm, so canned goods etc. stored in them were also being heated. If you are inclined toward "green" products, these fit the bill, but in addition, they are also MUCH safer. My 2 cents.

I decided to get these because I've been curious regarding "small" LED lamps. I can honestly type I'M NOT DISAPPOINTED!These lamps fit perfectly in my under-shelf light fixture. Their color/brightness is IDENTICAL to the incandescent lamps they replaced. They give off "ZERO" HEAT compared to the incandescents, which is a great "safety" feature - I won't get "burned" if I accidentally "touch" the lamp's metal surface or glass "lens".I only have one "nit": my fixture has a "dim" switch setting. When I select this, the lamps "flash", most likely due to the LOWER AC VOLTAGE being applied. I rarely/never use the "dim" setting, so it's not an issue. HOWEVER, be aware of this "phenomenon" if your fixture has a "dimming" feature. This does not detract from my "5 star" rating!Yes, I ** DO RECOMMEND ** these bulbs, if nothing else for the ENERGY SAVINGS and "HEAT REDUCTION" they provide!

Our family added under cabinet lighting over a year ago and really enjoyed what it added. The only downside was that the Xenon bulbs created a fair amount of heat and really weren’t energy efficient. We purchased these LED replacements and that fit perfectly and have made a great deal of difference in energy use, heat, and overall lighting color. They were a quick and easy swap with the Xenon bulbs that were in the Commercial Electric brand lights from Home Depot.Fast forward to 2020 and we did some additional remodel to our kitchen. We were able to do a new backsplash that allowed for the addition of more cabinet lighting with a new outlet. We added two more cabinet lights with these same LED lights. They’ve added additional light and helped us complete the look we wanted. Couldn’t be happier with the service we received and the product quality. If you’re looking to replace some Xenon bulbs, look no further. These are what you should purchase.

2nd UPDATE 1/22/2020 - after sending a video of the flickering bulb to the seller, they've told me these do have a one year warranty & are having a replacement sent to me. So the seller does have good customer service & is helpful - here's hoping the replacement will last because these lights are great when they work!UPDATE 01/18/2020 - I've taken off 4 stars because I've only been using these for four months, and one is now failing. About a week ago, I noticed one bulb began flickering then going off for a few seconds. It would then come back on only to go out again a few seconds later. This didn't happen every time I turned on the fixture & there wasn't any consistency to the timing of it going out.Today when it started again, my husband moved this troublesome bulb into a different socket, to see if the problem was in the fixture itself. Nope - within a few minutes, the suspect bulb that had been moved to a new place was now going on & off while it's moved partner was shining away in it's new position.Of the six bulbs I bought in September 2019, only one is now having problems less than four months later, but this is still ridiculous for LEDs. Very unfortunate - I thought these were great at first but if the real life of them is going to be less than six months, they're definitely not worth it.These are a fantastic alternative to the GE G8 Halogen bulbs. We needed them for the under cabinet puck light strips in our kitchen - each strip has 3 lights so the fact that this is sold as a 6 pack was a definite selling point for me. Since I use them in the kitchen & need the most light I can, I chose the color White, not the Warm White, which is again, perfect for my uses! Very bright & clean light. And my husband said these are much safer to use because they don't get so hot - he could barely touch the GE halogens after they'd been on for a few moments - not so with these, they stay cool to the touch. Great product - highly recommend!

Funcionan muy bien al inicio, lamentablemente el tiempo de vida es muy poco, y condiciones normales de uso. Una bombilla de resistencia me ha durado mas de un año, y estos led, apenas un par de meses, aun cumpliendo con una correcta instalación electrica.

I ordered this trying to replace the Samsung OTR microwave range top light bulbs which is halogen from Samsung. The Samsung part is 4713- 001165 G8 20W halogen bulb which is over C$40 including delivery (before taxes) per bulb, extremely expensive !This LED version works fine so far with the similar brightness (a bit brighter since I chose the daylight one) and very easy to install, no modification needed. It also works fine for the night mode (with some un-noticeable trace of flicking).I don't know the longevity yet but the power consumption is very low for the LED and much less heat produced from the bulbs.Update in Feb 2023, after about 6 months of use, the two I installed back in May 2022 start to flick. Seems to me not lasting long as all LED should. So I have to change it to lower star award.Update more in Feb 2023. After I contacted the seller on the short life span of the LED light, the seller said that the warranty will be 2 years and they immediately sent another batch of newer model to me. The new LED bulb is a bit more brighter than the old one and works fine in dim mode. Very good service so I put back the 5 stars.

Earlier this year I ordered exact same bulbs and they were find. I replaced the existing halogen bulbs. No problem. But I had few more bulbs to replace. So I ordered same as before. But the last batch are no good. They flicker. I do not have any dimmer switch. These are under cabinet lights. I checked the problem bulbs are from last batch. First one are still fine except one that burned out.Updated 01/17/22 - I contacted the seller. I could not ask for better customer service. Problem was quickly resolved. They sent me replacement. I have run them now for about two weeks. They seem to be fine so far. Thanks.

I replaced all my under counter puck lights with these. Nice light work with the dimmer. They may be a tiny bit lo ger than the halogens but seemed to fit and the fixture lenses went back on. Equivalent light, less energy and substantial cooler. Would recommend

These seem to be nice enough lights, they just didn't really fit my application (Samsung microwave). They had dimensions in the pictures and I wish I had checked before buying but they were in my cart for a while and I forgot when I bought them. I did end up trimming them down so I could use them. The connection was right, the base was just too big.The install would have been easy if they were the appropriate fit.I can't comment on longevity yet because I've only had them for a bit.If they hadn't posted dimensions, I would have given them fewer stars. If they had fit without modification (for my application), I would have given 5 stars.
