This is a great camera that can be concealed quite well. It literally looks just like a phone charger. If you have an outlet that is higher up, it will show quite a bit of the room. But just use an extension cord if you don’t have an outlet up high. The App is easy to use and you can set the camera up within minutes. You can set it up to record in a ‘loop’ or only if there is “motion”. Just be sure to select the motion setting if you only want it to record when motion is detected. You will need to get a memory card if you want to record any video and watch it after the fact. Otherwise you can log into it when you are away from home to watch it live but then you can’t go back and watch anything you missed. If you want a camera to watch your pets when you are gone, it would be great for that! But if you want a ‘hidden’ camera and want to keep an eye on the babysitter, this is a great choice! Just don’t forget to purchase a memory card if you want to go back and watch the video. I always get a 128 gb (which is the largest it takes) just to make sure I don’t miss anything. But you will also want to make sure that it’s a HD card. You will not be disappointed with this camera.

If your use for this is to get grainy, blurry images of things directly in front 5 feet away, then this is the perfect product for you!Otherwise, pass on it.Pros:The app and setup seemed to go well, I didn't have to fight to get it to connect to my WiFi.It conceals itself beautifully. The lens is hard to spot, and you'd have to be looking for it.The build quality seems pretty good, or at least as good as an average USB charger. The SD card is well hidden, and easy to insert / remove. (with a small edged tool, it is inset a bit)Cons:· Resolution -The description mentions 1080p HD... I'm not sure where that came from. The main stream's max size (and I'm assuming the chip itself) is limited to 1280x720. (see Picture).The substream is limited to 852x480. Needless to say, that is paltry by today's standards. I can pick up a regular 1080p chip camera for about $20 with a true 1080p main stream. If there is anything 1080p about this, it's been upsampled from a much lower resolution, which can only hurt the quality. · Quality -The picture is very dark. Even in a well lit room, it seems dark.Obviously the images are extremely pixelated. I'm assuming because it is an upscaled version of a 720p image.The image is pretty blurry. I'm betting this is because of the plastic cover on the adapter, which I'm not certain can be fixed.· Software -The app works well, however the web based software requires an external plugin, that isn't available on the device. So using the web interface is a no go. You might get luck to see the live shot, but the replay doesn't work via the web interface.· Recording -While it does seem to record and even respond to motion, my recordings were all out of wack and most of them frozen about half way through the default 10 minute segments. Kind of useless.All in all this is a pretty poor example of small camera technology. A lot of great ideas and a terrible execution.I can't find a single reason to keep this device, and so I will be returning it.

This camera is an impressive addition to my home security setup. The overall quality and functionality are top-notch, offering clear video and reliable wireless access for remote viewing. However, it's not without its drawbacks.The night vision could be improved as it's not the best in low-light conditions, and the motion detection feature sometimes cuts off the videos before the motion event is fully over, which can be frustrating. Despite these minor issues, it provides peace of mind with its discreet design and good quality video during the day.

The directions are great, the resolution is great, the app is great, the ability to connect to my router was flawless. Much better product than the other comparable product I tested.But I tested this at two different points in my living room, in order to get a view of my front door. The lengths were 15' and 16'. While it provided a great span of my living room, the camera is not set up to accommodate the fact that this is intended to plug into an outlet, which - aside from in kitchens and bathrooms - are always close to the floor, and I could not see anything above my shoulders. I am only 5'5". I would much rather sacrifice the width of a room in order to be able to see the face of anyone walking through my door. A simple 90 degree turn of the camera would accomplish this.I tried to find a way in the app to change perspective but was only able to flip the picture or turn it 180 degrees, both of which do great for width but not height.

I wanted something that I could use when traveling with our dogs to check in on them when we were away from the room. I found this camera that simply plugs into a wall outlet and looks like a USB phone charger and can actually be used as a charger as well. The app download and activation was easy enough. It is difficult to place as you need to find an outlet that is positioned where you can capture what it is you want to watch. That proved to be difficult so using an extension cord would probably be the next best thing to help position the device where you want it to see. I didn't purchased a Micro SD card so all I could do was live stream. But it did allow me to do that. I was afraid you would not be able to without a card. I was also able to pick up the video via wifi so I could go somewhere and still be able to check in without having to be on the same network.PROS:- Small and discreet- Decent camera and viewing angle for the priceCONS:- Hard to position- No night recording quality at all (However, it was not advertised as a Night Vision camera either)- Camera quality is adequate but it is in my opinion not 1080HP- Can be very grainy in low or normal light- No audio

The app did not support the videos ....rarely responded. This was set up for a family member in a nursing home. Was very disappointing and returned.
