Good product that works if you understand what your doing.
Product does make decent crepes, but you have to understand how to make crepes. This product has no recipes included and the instruction manual is a hilarious attempt at probably Chinese to English. So here are the basic instructions. 1. Google "Crepe Mix". I chose Martha Stewart. Real easy to make if you have a blender. If your store has crepe mix, you can try that too. Don't use pancake mix, even though they may say you can. Pancake mix has a rising agent that's not in crepe mix and there's a different water to flour ratio. (just take my word for it). After making batter, pour into white bowl that comes with the pan. 2. Pre-heat your new crepe pan. Not much here. Plug in, turn on, red-light, wait about 5 minutes. 3 Gather tools. Silicone spatula and maybe some silicone tongs. Also a tray lined with wax paper and some paper towels to wipe up drippings. 4. Look over and check the can of non-stick spray, make sure the cap is on and forget it's there as you won't need it. While traditional cast iron crepe pans may need this, this pan is non-stick. If you spray this pan with it, the batter won't stay adhered when dipped. 5. Turn the pan over and dip in the bowl of batter (see video) Turn back over. In 30 seconds or so you should be able to loosen it up with the spatula and turn it using the tongs or your fingers. 6. Cook to desired texture and put crepe on wax paper. I found there is no real recovery time for the thermostat. You can go ahead and repeat 5 and 6 until you run out of batter. After about a minute or so of cooling, the crepes are stackable, meaning they should not stick together. Just be careful, crepes are delicate. When your all creped out, you can fill them. The photo shows my finished product. I filled the crepes with banana slices and canned whipped cream and topped with more whipped cream and fresh blueberries. A pan like this is good for an apartment or when you are faced with an electric stove. If you have a gas stove, go for the cast iron option. Why, because that's how God intended it to be. But in the face of adversity, he give you options, like this. Good price. Good buy. "A woman's place is not in the kitchen. That's my world."

Love this!!!
Exactly what I needed! Perfect crepes every time!! First and only time I ever made crepes I did it in a frying pan and always ended up in disaster and disappointment. They were always too thick or too thin and not cooked evenly. This was super quick and easy and made the perfect thickness and even cooking! Highly recommend!!

Works as described.
This definitely works but it's a bit tricky and I think it was more of user error for me than anything. I was successful in making the crepes after a few tries. It might have been my batter and I will definitely try again. It did work as described and it was easy to use. Only complaint I have is the cord. When not in use, it is hard to tuck away so I ended up buying velcro straps to hold the cord in place and I wish that it came with some type of bag to put the crepe pain in when not in use to protect the crepe pan finish from scratching. Other than that, it was perfect.

Best way cook crepes!!
We are a family that loves crepes, but I have always disliked cooking them. Not anymore!!! This is a game changer for making crepes. The crepes cook evenly and perfectly. You don’t change the temperature, but that makes it easy because you know it’s cooking at the right temperature the whole time! Lightweight and easy to use. It can be tricky to store it, but at this price, it makes cooking crepes a breeze!! Highly recommend!!

Convenient but not quite as advertised
It's a very convenient unit to make crepes. Takes a couple of tries to get the hang of it. There is NO TEMPERATURE CONTROL. Instead you have to listen to the sizzling and pay attention to the edges. Once it starts to brown, work around it to lift it then flip it. You can turn the power off and on if needed. Also, don't overwork your batter or they'll get too rubbery. Also be warned that the heat level is inconsistent with uneven cooking. The heating element toward the handle cooks faster than other areas so keep that in mind. The cable is also really short so either get the cordless or get an extension cord. As for the smell... my dad said it smelled like a bakery and was really nice lol so that was a plus. For the mix, I used Stonewall kitchen premix.

So much fun to use
Love it! So easy to use that my 9 year old is already making crepes even better than mine. It's easy to clean. When I first got it out, I rubbed butter on the surface of it before plugging it in to prep the surface. I have only been cleaning it with the buttery paper towel that I use in between every 4 or 5 crepes. This also helps to keep the surface non stick. Havent needed to use soap or water yet on it since paper towel on the hot surface cleans any drips. If it gets too greasy, I'll probably use some soap and water on it, but so far on the hot surface it burns off. I love that it came with a crepe batter holder. It's so much easier than using a plate. When I was a girl, I had one that also had the recipe written on the batter holder which was a plus but I think that was from grande gourmet which I think went out of business long ago. I hate having to look up a recipe everytime I want to cook crepes or go through a book looking through dozens of different crepe recipes that I will probably never use. But it is nice to have a book for if you ever want to get fancy, of course the real recipe that I would have liked it to have was suzette, but that was the only one the book I ordered didnt have so now I have to Google it too! But I'm not here to talk about the book! Lol. I cannot attest to how long this machine will last since I've only had it a month or so, but I'm not expecting it to have the greatest shelf life since I bought the cheapest one and I've heard those flip over models break down easier than the expensive grill top models, but I bought it for it's simple to use since I have young kids and remember using one of these at their age so it was time i got one for them. Plus parents know better than to have expensive stuff in the house, especially if they are like my kids. So this is perfect for if you have pre-teens that want to learn to cook or you are a beginner at making crepes. Only annoying thing is when the crepe falls back into the batter b4 you get it flipped, but I just forked it out and started again. It is so much fun and everyone loves eating the yummy crepes. I'm so glad i bought this!

Super easy and effective
I live in a tiny apartment with an electric stove that isn't optimal for crepe making, so I wanted a crepe maker that was small enough to tuck away in my limited storage space, cheap enough to not break the bank, and easy enough to use to make breakfast while I'm still half asleep - this little thing definitely delivers! It is super easy to use but does not come with instructions on how to use it. So here's what I did, which seemed to work just right - 1. Plug it in and let it heat up. It seemed to take about three minutes to get to full heat, so super fast. 2. Make your crepe dough - very easy. Create a well from one cup of flour in a large bowl. Crack two eggs into the center of the well, and slowly whisk to combine. Add in one tablespoon of sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of salt, combine. Using an electric mixer for best results, slowly add in one cup of milk and two tablespoons of melted butter, mix until smooth and bubbly. Pour your mixture into the little plastic pan that comes with the crepe maker. 3. Dip the crepe maker into the mixture, letting it sit in the dough for about three seconds and giving it a little jiggle to make sure the whole surface gets evenly submerged in the dough. 4. Let it cook - how long depends on how brown you like your crepes, anywhere from 10-30 seconds. 5. Use a spatula to flip over the crepe and let the other side cook for about the same amount of time. 6. Put it on a plate. You can use a spatula to remove it, or just let it slide right off onto the plate by tipping the crepe maker. These crepes will not stick together, you can stack them on the plate. And ta-da! Add your toppings (I did Nutella and fresh berry compote) and enjoy. That crepe dough recipe seems to make a lot of crepes, I've made six so far and I'd say I'm about halfway through the dough. The great thing about this crepe maker is that you don't waste any of the dough. The crepes don't stick to the crepe maker at all. I used a tiny bit of cooking oil on the crepe maker before first use. There's no recovery time necessary, so as soon as you finish with one crepe you can dip it again. When you're all done, unplug it and let it cool off, then wipe it down with a damp paper towel or cloth. Bonus berry compote recipe - melt three tablespoons of butter in a small pot over medium heat. Add two tablespoons of lemon juice and 1/4 cup brown sugar, still until sugar melts. Add in three cups of any kind of berry and cook for two to three minutes, stirring regularly. Enjoy!

Change changer for making crepes.
These inverted pans are a game changer for crepe making. Making it as easy as toasting bread. There is a cool end to the pan, but it doesn’t prohibits the crepes from cooking through without having a not as cooked end or a burnt end. This one with that pan dipper is the best as using plates make it messy and more difficult with not getting proper dip and thickness. The batter dipper pan is just a large important as the actual inverted cook pan when buying these.

Quema las crepas
Sube tanto la temperatura que quema las crepas antes de cocinarlas. Mal diseñado pues la masa queda metida dentro de una ranura entre la plancha y el cuerpo del sartén.
