Best book for test preparation for CISSP, CISM, CCSP
The author Ben Malisow is the leading industry expert in security and holds many certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, and also teaches the basic and important concepts related to security. The book is written in such a way to help pass those certifications and designed for practitioners in the field. This book leads to other sources required to pass the certification, written in an easily understandable way, including the type of questions in the exam and how to tackle and pass it. Very well written and recommend it.

It was an easy decision for me to purchase the book after reading ...
The infosec ebook helped me to pass CCSP. I am a CISSP holder, and provisionally passed CCSP a week after taking Ben Malisow's seminar. I learned about the book in Ben's seminar. It was an easy decision for me to purchase the book after reading few page preview. There were several must know a.k.a. foot stomper in just few page review. I read 2 chapters: Encryption and Taking the exams as refresher before taking CCSP. The book was written appropriately to prepare reader to sit for managerial exam. It was easy to read and concise to help reader understand the concept. I did not feel that I get drawn out by the materials like other 1000 or 600 page books. In my opinion, the ebook is a good refresher and a great exam cram or the 11th hour book. It is not a replacement of AIO, or official study guide.

I hate reading
I don't care for reading books, but this is an easy read. I used to to prepare for CISSP. To be honest I skimmed over most of the book and ready the last chapter. Needles to say, it did its job and I passed!

Great way to augment the traditional learning process!
I found this book to be an easy read and used it to engage the material without going too deep. This book was of great help as an alternative to hard study as helped generate a sense of understanding underlying concepts.

Great insights.
The books walks through the infosec space from a very high altitude, with good pointers of many areas of interest. The tone tends to lean towards the cissp mainly but I believe it should guide other test takers too. At least there's a disclaimer from the onset: you still need to read specific and authoritative texts for your specific exam. All in all a work well put together.

Worth reading it for Infosec certifications
Nicely articulated on the topics covered in passing major recognized Infosec certifications (CISSP, Network+, CISA, Security+, CISM, CCSP)- " How to Pass Your Infosec" by Ben Masilow. Great effort, Ben!

This book is awesome. Ben is suave. Buy eight copies of this.
I love this book!!! A commendable guide to understanding various concepts such as privacy, encryption, access control, disaster recovery, compliance and much more! It contains many of the security terms and definitions regarding the aforementioned INFOSEC exams. Throughout the book, the author provides trivia, references, and tips on what to look out for when taking the exams. A particular tip that Ben uses with his students was also mentioned in this guide: RTFQ, which stands for Read the FULL Question (I'm actually censoring myself here). I think many of us IT folk DON'T do that (maybe because we hate reading), but I actually like how Ben explains his method. Many exams have questions where all of the answer options are correct, but only one is the MOST correct. No need to over-think or misread the question; let alone to continuously change your answer for a question. That is where the process of elimination comes into play for taking tests. I think this book should be highly recommended to have for IT certification preparation. Also, for those who like using flashcards to study, this book is very capable of that!! A superb job done by the IT expert!!Shout-out to Jake as well, haha!

Great grab an go insight book
This book is a great for a grab and read solution. It won’t cover the areas in deep detail but that’s not the purpose of this book. A great refresher that highlights areas to study further. It’s not a daunting book that is bigger than the bible.

Eccellente!
Lui risponderà in maniera esauriente e spiritosa a tutti i dubbi che potreste avere in merito: cosa devo imparare a memoria? cosa è meglio approfondire? quale atteggiamento mentale adottare durante l'esame?Il tutto con un linguaggio semplice e diretto.Soddisfattissimo!

Great book with a lot of great tips.
I am in process of preparing for my CISSP exam, and I came across this book. I bought a Kindle electronic edition. This great guide offers valuable tips and information for anyone who wants to write CISSP or any other INFOSEC exams. An author is true professional, and explains the complex content in a simple terminology. Ben's subversive brilliance shines in new and unexpected ways with this masterpiece. I would strongly recommend this book to all INFOSEC professionals.
