The designs are created with a batik process (like several other styles) and they are all unique as they are made by hand. All Batik Prints are "Exclusive Designs For Lotus Resort Wear!" You won't find better quality prints elsewhere. These are excellent for wearing daily, as well as with all of the uses that the beach sarongs are used for (Sarong, Scarf, Beach Blanket, Wrap dress, Shawl....). ** Please note that there may be a small amount of leftover wax (brown bits) that might have been missed by our quality control. Wax is used to create designs during batik process so they are not some dirty gunk, they are proof of genuine, handmade batik. These wax, if found can easily be scrubbed off or be washed off.

Lovely, light and cool fabric
These sarongs are made of high quality rayon in a lightweight but sturdy challis weave, perfect for dressmaking. I plan to make a sundress with this stunning black and white design. The first sarong I received did not have any contrasting border pattern, as shown on the site. I ordered a second one which did arrive with a contrasting border pattern, tho slightly different than the product image online. These sarongs are all individually hand wax stamped and batik dyed, so it's not unreasonable to have variations in the final products. I'm glad I was able to get one with the contrasting border, as it will be an important design element in the dress I'll make with it. Also glad Amazon Prime makes it easy to return items that miss the mark.

Just gorgeous!
I have to say that these sarongs are just beautiful! Gorgeous prints and the fabric is heavy enough to drape beautifully. Great for tropical climates! However, I am 5'5" and wider in the hips then the shoulders. I couldn't find a wrap that I was happy with on my shape. But if I were you I would try one. So beautiful, you may find a wrap that works for you.

LOVE the material/pattern - it is firmer/thicker than my other sarongs, but feels good on. Only thing was there was a small hole near one of the edges, but it's nothing I can't fix, so haven't worried about complaining about it. It will be my going out sarong... happy with product :)

The actual scarf is a dull blue, almost grey
Colours not even close to being as pictured. The 9086 appears in the photos to have richly tinted gold pattern on an inky cyan and mauve background. The actual scarf is a dull blue, almost grey, with no mauve or purple anywhere, and the pattern is just plain orange, like fluorescent traffic-safety flashing. Appears to be nice quality otherwise. But it would have been nice to have more realistic colour representation.
