No germination for me
I am a decent plant person. I grew up with gardens and worked at a farm supply store. To be honest, I am not even sure there are seeds in the packages. It looks like dry soil or something with no seed like structures. I know some seeds are tiny so I planted what was there into a plastic starter pack with the cover to keep it warm and moist. In the same starter pack I put tomato seeds. 2 weeks later I'm transplanting the tomatoes into larger pots and no basil has sprouted. I just added more of what was in the packages into the soil but with inspection and review online of what basil seeds are supposed to look like I'm really thinking there is nothing but soil inside the packets. I'm giving these another 2 weeks then i'm going to find some different seed. I'll update my review if I have a more positive experience but the disappointment so far is what prompted me to write a review.

Good seeds
I recently bought and reviewed this company’s mint seeds, of which 100% failed to germinate. The Basil was a diametric opposite.I sowed 4 spots with 2 or 3 Basil seeds in each. As far as I can estimate, almost all of them germinated, and I’ll be thinning them out in a few days.Clearly the packet of mint seed was a one-off failure.

They're growing some
So, I've grown herbs from seed MANY times. I've made the mistake of planting 5-6 seeds and end up with 5-6 plants (Burpee or Ferry Morse is what I'm mostly used in the past). So I only put two seeds of each type in the little pots and only got two sprouts, one the "standard" basil and one opal. Going to have to plant more. These are being grown in my kitchen under a GroLED lamp that I've used for everything I've started from seed. Yeah, I know getting 2 plants out of 6 seeds isn't necessarily a deal breaker but... Yeah. So far not all that impressed. I'll keep updating as these grow and I plant more of each so I have "spares".

Poor quality control.
I am no expert on milligrams, I am an expert at growing seeds. Unfortunately I will not be able to grow the Thai Basil, or maybe the one seed that came in the package is the lucky one and will grow. Certainly 400 milligrams is more than one seed. Poor quality control.

Yum!
Love it--nothing compares to the taste of fresh basil! Planted these in various spots in the garden--both full sun and part shade. They germinated and sprouted within a week. The purple basil was surprisingly true to the picture.

I'm pleased
I was hesitant to buy these seeds after reading the other reviews. I was afraid they wouldn't sprout. I planted the seeds two weeks ago and all three varieties are coming up! I'm happy!

Bad seeds - almost none germinated
Only a couple sees germinated in two packets. Nothing in the packet of Opal basil germinated at all. Complete waste of money.
