Are these also good for fish? Pleco and goldfish?

The package states that it's recomended for aquarium fish and koi. I do know that my turtle just loves them. They float and she nibbles on it until it's gone. Hope this helps.

do these actually float? because i bought a bag from the pet store and they sank.

Mine float and the turtle has a blast chasing it UNTIL my painted turtle gets one bite in and then it sinks and she ignores it. I have a very deep 75 gallon tank. So I have to hand feed it to her in pieces or it will make a big mess. Therefore I can only give her these on the weekend, its not a drop it and forget it treat. But she absolutely loves them.

Why are the shrimp chasers so much more expensive? do res like shrimp?

Our 3 outdoor Red Sliders LOVE Chasers. They swim to us like motorboats - leaving wakes. Ingredients - shrimp. Amazon offers a 20 oz. package saving money.

Do these cloud the water?

I feed 3 Red Ear Sliders, they eat them fairly quickly, I have never seen them cloud the water. The Turtle Chasers are hard so I soak them in water for about a minute before I feed them, it makes them easier to bite into.

Messy shrimp ball of joy

Stinky shrimp ball floats and potentially sinks. My turtle does not care but attacks the object, drags it into the underwater cave and devours it. Messy yes, worth the turtle joy, also a yes.

Sinker

Immediately sinks to the bottom. If my RES "Godzilla" is not looking when you drop, you have to go in and retrieve it for her. She did eat it right up when she found it. They break apart fast in crumbs when she bites in and the water goes brown around it. I'll let her finish this treat bag as she seems to like the taste, but I wouldn't buy again as I was hoping she would be able bite and have it float away.

Turtle loves it but suuuper messy

Great little interactive treat for your aquatic turtles, but beware, it leaves a mess! My red ear slider goes nuts for these, he will try to gobble down every last crumb, but he still leaves a huuuuge mess on the bottom of the tank. My filter is capable of picking up most of it but I try to clean it up with a net to avoid clogging anything. I decided I'll save these treats for tank cleaning day, and feed it a few hours before I clean. Also some sunk while others floated. Didn't bother my turt though, he has lots of fun eating these. So it fulfilled its purpose. Just wish it wasn't such a messy treat!
