Maybe just me but get great results using the 920 cleaner first followed by the 870 wax

The best fiberglass cleaner EVER!

I used the 920 on my 23ft boat. It goes on easily and cleans well, but it almost took the whole bottle to complete the job. I did the whole boat including the inside and hull so you can guage the amount you'll need. I do wish the co.pany would modidy the bottle so you could just squirt it onto a pad, rather than take the top off. Also Make sure you tape off any rubber or sensitive items as it will stain them white (see photo). I recommend this product.I also bought the 925 polish that I will use next.

Works as described

The overall wax is fantastic, but had to perfect the technique. Buffing by hand...horrible. Buffing with polisher...perfection!! Great product. Goes a long way.

I've used collinite wax on my boat fiberglass for years and really like the durability. Typically in September my boats hull still has a nice shine and water still beads up.

The product itself worked verry well, even on the bottom with stains and some scum line. With a buffer it cleaned it very well and ready for wax. I did find it very difficult to wipe. It would dry very fast and if I wasn't fast enough I would hhave to re-wet with product to clean off. My BIGGEST COMPLAINT was the screw top bottle. 1st day I got so aggrivated trying to put a small amount on the buffer wheel or applicator pad. I kept getting too much, note nough, and then screw the cap on and off. The second day I I brought an empty body lotion bottle with a pump and poured the Collnite in it and then it was so easy. The should have at least put a cap that had a small discharge port on top.

My fetish, among others, is keeping my boats looking pristine and like new. This is the best product I have found for conditioning the fiberglass gelcoat for the final wax job- using the Collonite Fleet Paste Wax. I always use a professional grade grinder/buffer and the old boats gleam so that you can comb your hair in the finish. One's an '86 Correct Craft I have restored from a near junker and the other was a '93 34' Hunter cruising sailboat I sold right after slicking her up for the last time. Love the compliments I get on my floating stock.
