When it comes to a jarred marinara, this sauce is on point. I feel like it is tough to find a good one other than a Rao's or Carbone type of brand, but I think this may be better than those. Fresh tomato flavor. It feels like it wasn't cooked down as much and preserved some of that freshness that you want. You can see the separation of the olive oil on top, which is a good thing. Tastes like it's from a high end Italian restaurant, and absolutely worth the money to have around when you need something quick but still want something really good and properly done and didn't have to do any of the work. Highly recommended and will be buying again.

Well if you want the best marinara out of a jar here it is. This is real sauce. Small chunks of tomato are there not just a thick sauce. I have been using this for my new pizza adventures and I won't use anything else. Wife was tired didn't want to cook one night and I said use the rest of that marinara make spaghetti. At first I thought darn not enough sauce it's not the thick coating the paste and packet make. But to my surprise it was enough cause so much flavor is in this marinara it was not needed. I actually ate more spaghetti than usual cause it was in fact not so rich and thick made it better. Now mind you it's much more economical with paste and packet since 1 jar is about $10. But for pizza it will make plenty so it's worth it to me. I will be back and maybe try the basil next time.

Best sauce in a jar ever!

Based on the rave reviews, I purchased 4 jars of this sauce. I was super excited to try it out and immediately made a batch of spaghetti with my homemade meatballs and hot Italian sausage. Upon opening, the sauce definitely looked homemade and the trace of olive oil at the top made it even more appealing. Sadly, the taste didn’t do much for me. It was very bland and felt like it was missing a lot. The ingredients listed on the jar should have made for a wonderful flavor. My wife even commented on the lack of flavor and asked if I had tried to make my own sauce. lol. For the price, it is not worth me purchasing again. I was very disappointed because so many reviews stated it was the absolute best. Until I perfect my own homemade sauce, I will stick with Rao’s as it is the best tasting of the store bought sauces I’ve tried.
