Forum Novelties Child's Deluxe Toy Soldier, Large

Such a great costume. My son, almost four, insisted on being a toy soldier for Halloween. Not really sure why or how he got the ideal, but he was adamant on it. I found this costume on Amazon and was thrilled. I used a Large Folder coffee can from Sam's and turned it into a drum. He was so happy. Received many compliments on his costume. Multiple people thought he was a drummer. Oh, but the really old knew he was a Toy Soldier. He's a big three year old so the small fit perfectly. I did cut out a cardboard circle and double sticked taped it to the top to keep shape. So cute! One lady asked to borrow him for Christmas, it took me a minute but a then realized she thought he was a Nut Cracker.

The media could not be loaded.  Sizing is good, got the large/12-14, and fit well with a little room to grow. He is an 8 yr old, though big for his age in a size 12 going into a 14 so this works well for him. Our son is obsessed with the Nutcracker soldiers and the old classic March of the Wooden Soldiers movie and out of all the soldier/bandleader costumes we looked through, our son thought this one looked the closest lol. He loves it and wears it all the time. The only thing about the hat is that it is not firm, it is only cloth, so you can steam the wrinkles out I suppose and stuff it with some tissue paper, but I just haven't gotten around to it and our son doesn't seem to even care, he's just having fun! Some days he's a bandleader, some days he's a soldier! Love the versatility of their imaginations! Enjoy the video, my husband is quite the comedian lol.

Good quality, fits perfect but the hat was very wrinkled and no way to smooth out.

This costume was perfect for my daughter's stint in a variety talent show. But it came very wrinkled and took me a long time to iron out the wrinkles. Some of the wrinkles I could not iron out because I'd melt the braids off. My daughter thought the boot covers looked lame and she wore rain boots and we never used the hat either. We borrowed a real hat from the high school marching band.I thought the costume was pricey for what it was but we were desperate for a marching band costume so I had to go for it. The fabric is that cheap poly you find in typical Halloween costumes. Still it held up to many dress rehearsals and performances. Phew!

It is such a cute costume for the price. It is not packed well so expect a bent up hat and the pants are giant compared to the top but the top is so cute and detailed it makes up for it.

We used this as a nutcracker costume for our Christmas cards. It is really well made and fit perfectly.

Cute little outfit. It worked out for his choir performance. The hat does run small. Very cute.

No complaints. Exactly what I expected, especially for the price. Fit was good, material was good as well.

I ordered this on behalf of my Mom for my nephew and he loved it. Still wears it to this day.
