AMZ was out for a while so I switched brands but came back to this. it has been effective in controlling my A1c as long as I do the other things - diet, exercise, etcEdit as of August 22. The price of this brand of berberine has gone through the roof. I can't support paying thus much when the competition is also effective. I'm trying a new brand and will report out later on NY difference in my glucose readings

The capsule version is about the only way you can consume the supplement. Tastes terrible directly.

I primarily bought this product for its weight loss assist. Can't say that it is functioning that way for me but maybe I am eating too much? I am a male, 61, and am following the intermittent fast diet plan. I do not eat from 2000-1200 each day. I eat a lunch and supper only and limit total intact to 1650 calories per day. I also lift weights and do other light work around the house. This supplement is supposed to have several health benefits. I can say I feel healthy. I guess the only way to test if it is helping is to stop but I do not want to. Easy to take. Does not upset the stomach. I do not get cravings throughout the day due to sugar swings. This is supposed to help with that . I am not diabetic but it can't hurt to do things to help me.
